[Sept 2025 – My unbiased review of “365 Everyday Value, Elderberry Liquid, 4 FL OZ (4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1))365 Everyday Value, Elderberry Liquid, 4 FL OZ (4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1))”]I have no idea if it actually has any health benefits, or not, but to be honest, I didn’t order it for that reason. My mother used to give me some elderberry syrup when I was a little girl if I was getting sniffles, and I loved the taste of it back then, so when this bottle of 365 ‘Elderberry Liquid’ popped up for review, I grabbed it. It’s a little more tart, and it’s a bit more runny than the syrup of my childhood days, but it’s still very tasty, in my opinion. I expect the syrup I remember was full of sugar, but this Whole Foods product contains no sugar or other sweetener, which is good to know.The ingredients are listed as elderberry fruit, vegetable glycerin, water, citric acid, and potassium sorbate. I like 365 products because it’s a Whole Foods in house brand, and that company is well known for selling good quality products. The price of $14.99 for 4 oz (Sept 25, 2025) doesn’t seem like great value to me, but I’m cheap so there’s that. It may be stingy of me, but I knocked off a star due to the price.

Great Elderberry Syrup!
This elderberry syrup worked perfectly for what we needed! The value for money is great for what you get. It is a liquid that is easy to use and it tastes just like elderberry. The ingredients are not too bad and they are decent for what it is. The syrup isn’t too thick and is easy to swallow. Overall we are really happy with this and would recommend it to anyone considering it! It’s great to use as a daily immunity booster!

A spoonful brings health and sweet childhood memories
Tastes great strait. No off-taste or anything metallic or chemically. When I was growing up in the 70s, my father planted an elderberry bush in our orchard. They always intrigued me because they’re unlike most other editable berries because they are tiny purple smidgeons that grow in a cluster. We would pick them once a year and it took forever to get enough for the one thing my mother made with them: elderberry pie. With enough sugar, they made a scrumptious pie that went great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. These days, we know elderberries are healthy and helpful for immune system. So, my wife adds a teaspoon of elderberry extract to her morning kale smoothy. It is a nice way to get antioxidants. This 10:1 elderberry concentrate could really be added to about any desert or a bowl of cereal without hurting the taste. We have certainly had no bad affects from using it.

We drink elderberry every time one of us is feeling ill. It helps us weed away the sickness quicker and with less symptoms. The taste of this one is just like all the other ones we have purchased in the past. It is not thick and not too sugary with is amazing. The quality is there as it still helped us stay healthy even when everyone around was getting ill. At under $15 for a 4 oz bottle, I think the value is not these, as I can buy similar ones for less.

Hidden sugar
They use sugar in their elderberry concentrate. My body got inflamed after taking this. This is exactly why I look for no suagr in the ingredients. I really wish they wouldn’t try to hide it because some of us really do need to know.
