Helpful to prevent hair loss
I’ve never used a product like this before. Each little shot is meant to be mixed into a larger bottle of another product. I currently have only mixed it in with my shampoo (waiting to start a new bottle of conditioner before I add it to that product). You simply open it, pour it into the shampoo, and shake it up to mix. I didn’t notice any scent when I added it, which is nice because it doesn’t clash with the scent of my shampoo. I have been using it for awhile and I have noticed less hair falling out in the shower and when I brush. I’m not sure it’s been long enough to measure new hair growth, but I am really happy that less hair seems to be falling out. I have high hopes long term for how this will impact my scalp and hair. My hair is very smooth and soft with this product added to my shampoo. I would be interested to try some of the other products too. I like that it is added to a larger product so I can use it over long periods of time and not have it wasted in one or two uses.

Softer hair and possibly a bit more body
Review of Daily Perfection Add in Hair Serum BoosterThis is maybe one of the most difficult items I have reviewed. I received this product of two vials with instructions that said to add a vial to either shampoo or conditioner. So I decided to add it to a bottle of my conditioner that is OGX Thick and Full + biotin and collagen 40 oz. (From Sam’s) that was probably almost half used up. It was difficult to shake the serum booster into this thick conditioner but my husband and I shook the bottle for a couple minutes each so hopefully it did get mixed in. The instructions were written so tiny and were a bit lacking. There isn’t any mention of how much shampoo or conditioner you are supposed to mix this product into so I just used what I had at the moment so I am unsure if I am using it to its best advantage thus my difficulty in knowing exactly how to rate this product. I have used it for 4 days and I think I am feeling more softness in my gray hair that has been just plain difficult to style for the past few years which usually results in my wearing a pony tail or sometimes a simple updo to help hide the lack of body my hair has. Last night after blow drying my hair I did pull the sides back with a barrette like I used to do years ago and I think it looked better than it has in a long while so hopefully it is starting to help. It certainly has not caused me any problems so here is where the guessing how to rate this comes in. I have not noticed more shine in my hair but it is gray and I haven’t noticed any naturally gray hair that I could say was shiny. But I do think my hair is softer and maybe has a bit more body so I will be optimistic and give this product 4 stars. I am knocking one star off for instructions that could be larger print and tell you how much product is best to use this in. Also while not a big deal, I could not snap open this product as instructed but just used scissors instead. I am looking forward to what using these two vials will accomplish for my hair and I am hopeful. If this product is able to help me with more than softness I will for sure be back to buy more and I will joyfully update this review!

Hard to evaluate
I don’t know how to review this product fairly, because the instructions were so limited that I’m not sure I used it as intended. I did not realize that it’s meant to be used with the brand’s other hair care products until I had already received it. The product instructions say to add it to shampoo or conditioner, but they don’t tell you how much shampoo or conditioner you should use. I was reluctant to add it to a full bottle in case I didn’t like it, so I added it to a bottle of conditioner that was two-thirds gone, with just a few ounces left. I don’t know whether that’s the right proportion. The conditioner was very thick. I shook it and shook it but I don’t know whether that was enough to mix the product thoroughly. I didn’t notice any difference in its consistency when I put it on my hair. I also don’t know whether there might have been other ingredients in my conditioner that would interfere with the way this product is supposed to be used.Unfortunately, after using the conditioner with the product added once, my hair looked worse than it has in quite a while, dry, fly-away, shineless and shapeless. But I have no idea whether that’s because of the product. It’s also true that my blow dryer recently died and I was using a travel dryer instead, and that might have been the reason. I have a new dryer now, so I will update if I find that my hair improves.But meanwhile, with so much that I don’t know — did I use the right amount of conditioner? Was it the right kind of conditioner for this product? Did the product mix into the conditioner? Was the product the reason my hair came out badly? — I have to say I’m neutral about this product and don’t know whether to recommend it or not. I think the best plan would be to use it with the brand’s other products, as it’s intended to be used, and then a reviewer would be in a better position to evaluate it. It would also be helpful if the manufacturer provided more specific information about how to use the product.
