Good for post microneedling
A good serum with select ingredients that makes it great for microneedling! Double checking the ingredients, it’s good for both the face and the scalp. To specify when I say microneedling, I mean it’s safe to apply after 24 hours onto the skin after it’s been microneedled. I do not mean microneedled directly into the skin. This really does improve skin texture and help with hair growth! Even though it says it’s a booster to be added to other products, I have not found that to be necessary.

Skin Care Product Additive
I was interested in trying Copper peptides so I thought I would give this a try. It says to add it to your preferred skin care product. I wasn’t completely sure what that meant so I added it to my moisturizer. It is quite watery and fairly easy to mix in. I’m not sure if it can be added to any product or if there might be some conflict between ingredients. I didn’t really notice any difference when I used it but I see that others have had success with it. Maybe I’ll give it another try with another face care product

Easy way to add copper to my skincare routine
I like that this is a booster meant to be added to other products so that I can get the benefits of copper without having to add yet another serum to my routine. I put 2 drops of the serum in the palm of my hand and mixed it in with my moisturizer before applying the combination to my skin. It did not cause my sensitive skin any irritation. As another reviewer pointed out, this product’s packaging says it is made in China (which I do not have an issue with in and of itself), but this is not Korean skincare as stated in the listing (which I do have an issue with). As noted in the product description above, you’ll need to be careful mixing this with things that could neutralize the activity of copper (this is true of all copper peptide products), but should you accidently mix them, the only thing that would occur is that the activity of the copper would be decreased and you wouldn’t see the full benefit. Copper peptide booster
I ordered this product thinking that it is a peptide-based serum. A it turns out this cobalt-colored solution is a booster that can be added to facial skin care products. To try it on I applied 2 drops of it on each hand and the result was amazing. Booster is water based and does not leave any residue on the skin. It instantly gets absorbed. And once applied on the skin it makes skin structure even and incredibly soft. I recently ordered some turmeric based facial mask and I will add this booster the facial mask mixture for more potency. I will also mix up this booster with hyaluronic acid powder to prepare custom made serum that I will apply on my skim prior to applying moisturizer. This product is pure gold!

I added two drops into my facial cream, and mixed well before applying. This serum is lightweight, odorless, blue, and didn’t add any color to the white cream that I mixed it with. It did add a glow, and hydrate my skin, but it did have a tiny tackiness, nothing major. I definitely like the effect that it has on my skin. The listing shows it being applied directly to the skin, but the instructions state to mix a drop or two with your skin care product, and that’s what I did.This serum booster arrived in a shrink wrapped box, and comes in a glass bottle with a bulb applicator.This product has a three year shelf life & is made in China.

Not meant to be a stand-alone product and also cannot be added to all products
I did not realize this was serum was meant to be added to another product…especially since one of the photos shows the serum being directly applied to the model’s skin. So, you should be aware that this is meant to be added to another product, which is fine. But, the listing also says it is crucial that you do not add the serum to products containing certain ingredients. The problem with that is twofold: (1) while beauty products always list the ingredients on the packaging, they aren’t always listed on the actual bottle so I have no way of knowing whether this copper peptide will counteract, and (2) even if the ingredients were listed on the bottle, who has the time or inclination to review the ingredient to see if it’s safe to combine it with this serum? Not this girl.Also, the product description says “Korean skincare” which is misleading. According to the packaging, this product is made in China, not Korea. Lots of beauty companies are jumping on the Korean skincare bandwagon by claiming to be something they are not, which is a growing pet peeve of mine.Putting all of that aside, the serum additive seems fine. It is odorless and when I used it as a standalone product, it absorbed quickly. There are many benefits of copper peptide, so I likely will continue to use it.

Smells like glue
This serum comes neatly packaged in a box and is dispensed with a dropper. Instructions say to mix in a couple drops of this serum to other skincare products and apply to the skin, so I tried it with a couple products and found it to work best with light moisturizers and other thin serums. The blue-purple color is accurate and thankfully did not transfer to my skin, but it does smell strongly of glue. The copper peptide is supposed to have anti-aging effects, but I did not see any noticeable changes. I did not have any negative reactions though, so I will continue using it to see if it makes a difference over time. One thing I didn’t like was the slippery metal of the dropper that can make it difficult to open the bottle, especially when I have just used other products.
