Best curl custard I’ve ever used (on my 3c curls)!
I’ve used it while my hair was wet and dry it works wonders on days that I don’t have a lot of time for a full curl routine. Obviously, it works best on wet hair but also works well on my (3c) curls when they are dry. This product holds your curl pattern really well maintaining soft curls without the crunchiness of other gels. I’ve also gotten lots of compliments on the way it smells (kind of a sweet smell). The effects do seem to last for about 2-3 days on my hair though my hair is also a bit damaged so that might be it.

My curly hair journey has been an arduous search for a holy grail one and done product. I have drawers full of the evidence of this. After receiving this little tub of Aunt Jackie’s Curl La La, I shampooed my hair. I skipped the conditioner because the product has olive oil in it. I micro fiber towel dried my hair. I used small amounts of product on small sections of hair from root to tip. I used my curl defining bounce brush on each section and did a slight shake to establish the curl pattern. I then used warm air on low blow to defuse my hair. The result was perfect 3b ringlets with no frizz in sight. I am of very mixed heritage and doing my hair has been something I have to contend with every morning. Usually ending with a updo as not to have to deal with the frizz factor. However this little tub of Curl La La has ended my search. My curls are soft not crunchy, stiff or flaky. My hair is moisturized and has shine but not greasy or wet looking. My curls are defined but not weighted down. This is an, if I could only choose one desert Island type of a product. Hopefully they don’t change or stop making it.

Aunt Jackie’s is an interesting product. My husband and I both have thick, course, “afro” hair, but Aunt Jackie’s dries my hair out. I really don’t like it and won’t use it for my hair. My husband on the other hand, has found it works quite well for him. It moisturizes his curls while also defining them and promoting pretty decent hair health for his hair. Not to mention it does smell really good. I’ve also found it keeps his hair really soft, and provides a soft shine and decent hold. So minus one star because I’d love for it to work for my hair, but honestly five stars becase it works so well for his.

it works well. my hair felt super moisturized and soft. Made my hair really shiny and helped me stretch my curls. I took off 2 stars because it smelled HORRIBLE. I was like “no way I could go outside with my hair smelling like this”

Definitely a great addition to my curly hair routine! My curls definitely look more defined and moisturized after using. A little goes a long way, which I found out after it made my hair look extra greasy the first few uses. After using less product, my hair looks just fine, though! Ive been using this product to do my bantu knots and the curl after 24 hours after take down in amazing, while using this product make sure you hair health is good because the product works well especially on damp 4c low porosity hair. The color is purple as it is in the photo and the ingredients are natural!! Oh and it smells good

I read the reviews of this product and was in search of something to give my waves more definition. Product arrived in perfect condition. It has a thick consistency and smells very appealing. Initially I made the mistake of using too much product and ended up with crunchy curls. My second attempt was much better using a smaller amount of product and the third time I used wet hands to mix a little water with the product before applying to my hair and this worked a charm. It held my deeper than usual waves for several days until the next wash. At this rate, the tub should last me well over a year!
