I decided to take a chance and purchase this sunscreen due to the many positive reviews. I knew going into this purchase that this sunscreen had a thick pasty content to it, so I was hesitant because I was concerned with how difficult it might be to spread to the skin, facial hair, and to wash off. This sunscreen comes out of the tube thick and pasty; however, it is very easy to apply to the face, including easy to apply to facial hair / a beard. It will leave a noticeable white cast on facial hair / a beard; however, it absorbs quickly and becomes virtually invisible. By time I got into my vehicle after I had applied it to my beard, I could no longer see the white cast.I also had no problems washing this sunscreen off with a men’s face wash in the shower and with a towel.This sunscreen offers high UVA / UVB protection with 25% non-nano zinc oxide.I cannot speak for how this sunscreen holds up against sweat, heat and water. I absolutely would recommend it for incidental sun exposure, including using it indoors sitting near windows or driving inside your vehicle. I’ve used and tried many mineral sunscreens over the years, and this is one of the best I have found.

Quality Natural Product
This is a great sunscreen that works well. In addition to being non-greasy and easy to use, I could feel it protecting and nourishing my skin. I believed that having an SPF of 50+ gave me the necessary protection from the sun. The product’s natural ingredients, like tallow, vitamin E, and jojoba oil, just to name a few, are a huge positive in my opinion. I’m pleased with my buy and will keep using it.

Great beef tallow sunscreen!
Great beef tallow sunscreen! NOT greasy or sticky, rubs in cleanly. Very faint pleasant smell. I don’t care for fragranced products, but I also don’t care for the smell of many “unscented” products. This one fits the bill with a very light pleasant smell (that you can only smell if you are within inches of where it is applied.) As this sunscreen applies smoothly, it covers quite a bit with a small amount. I’m hoping the tube will last awhile, as it certainly isn’t cheap, however, good quality ingredients and I really like the product so far!

Great for outdoor use – no white cast!
I’ve tried a lot of natural sunscreens, and this Tallow sunscreen is one of the best. It goes on super smoothly and doesn’t leave a white cast at all, which is rare for mineral-based products. The texture is light and not greasy, so it works great under makeup too. I wore it during long outdoor hikes and had zero irritation or breakouts. Highly recommend for anyone with sensitive skin who spends time outside!

Titanium Dioxide!!
This seems like a pretty decent product all around, for the price.Be aware, this product contains titanium dioxide. It is usually listed as an “active ingredient” along side zinc oxide. For whatever reason (maybe a low quantity) it is listed in “inactive ingredients”.My husband is allergic to titanium dioxide and I gave this to him to use. Having not seen it on the active ingredients. Mistakes were made.

Amazing product for outdoor activities during summer

Best sunscreen
I have very fair skin color and after being at the shore , spending hours outside in sunny weather, my skin was not red or burned. I highly recommend this product for its effectiveness, ease of application, and for its non irritating formula.

After years of slathering on sunscreens that turned my forehead into a mirror, I had more or less accepted the shiny look. Then I stumbled upon an unlikely hero, a beef tallow SPF 50 packed into a neat three fluid ounce tube. The label promised non-nano zinc oxide for full UVA and UVB cover and, somehow, extra moisture without the frying-pan finish. It sounded improbable, but curiosity won.The cream feels lighter than it has any right to, almost like a whipped lotion. It spreads faster than butter on hot toast and then simply vanishes, leaving no ghostly cast. First trial was a windy run along Brighton seafront, no stinging eyes, no grit glued to my cheeks, and no chalky smears on my navy running top. A couple of days later came a sunny barbecue. Same result. The sun beat down, I hovered by the grill for hours, yet my skin stayed comfortable and non-greasy. I even had a brief paddle with the children; the water resistance held firm so I did not need to reapply the moment I stepped back on to the sand.There is a faint, clean scent when you first squeeze it out, but it fades before you reach the door. My skin reacts to almost everything, yet there was no redness or clogged pores, which felt close to miraculous.In short, reliable protection, a finish that looks like bare skin, and a pocket-sized tube that costs far less than many of the glossy brands cluttering the chemist’s shelf. One now lives in my running belt, another in the glove box, and I cannot see myself going back.
