I have been wanting to try a spirulina supplements for a while now but never got started because there is so much out there and I didn’t know how to pick a good one. I am so glad I waited because I found Biogenesis! I love that it is made in Australia and I love their process and how transparent they are about their whole company and process (although I don’t like how they felt the need to photoshop in trees and shrubs around the edges of the spirulina ponds in the photo they posted here, see screenshot of their website I uploaded). Love that this is organic too. Organic and made in Australia and so much company and manufacturing transparency and yet this doesn’t cost more than other spirulina supplements! I am not sure why spirulina is always made into these little tiny tablets, but they say the dose is 15 tablets and that gives you 3 grams. All of the studies on spiraling show benefits with spiraling starting as low as 1g and going up to 8g a day, so 3g is a nice middle ground but if you want to stretch your dollars you could do just five tablets a day and still receive some benefit. I am not sure I see any difference on these, not sure one does, I assume all the benefits are internal and need lab tests to confirm. I did start with smaller doses as the product page suggests and had no problems and now am at the recommended 15 tablets a day. Very happy with this product and company and am now looking into getting some of their other products!

Easy to take
When I first saw serving suggesting was 15 pills, I was in shock. How does one swallow 15 pills??? Thankfully, the pills are tiny making it easy to swallow. I got these for a little boost in greens. We can always use a bit more green in our lives! I appreciate that there is a high concentration of spirulina along with many other nutrient rich stuff. Taking them for a week, I felt more alert with higher levels of energy. Great brand, and reading up on how they process this makes me trust them even more. I am definitely a repeat customer.

Fantastic, single ingredient, spirulina tablet formula, with best-case manufacturing practices. The manufacturer has a state of the art way of producing this product and it’s rather remarkable, and it makes sense that this way is superior to other methods. I wanted spiulina mainly for the the chlorophyll, but I love the fact that it’s packed with other vitamins and minerals. If you note the amounts of each nutrient in the Supplement Facts panel, it seems that the amounts compared to RDA, may be a bit on the low side… but from what I understand, since these nutrients are in the form of “food”, basically embedded within a food substance, the “bio-availability” goes through the roof, and it’s in a form that the body can use completely, unlike synthetically derived nutrients, which make up the majority of nutritional supplement on the market, from what I understand. This is a high quality spirulina tablet formula, with an outstanding manufacturing process. I’m glad to have this in tablet form, because trying to mix even a little bit of the powder form into a large smoothie, I could still taste it.

Bait and Switch
Very disappointed after combing through tons of products thinking I found “the one.” I am currently breastfeeding, so I do not want chlorella ‘detoxing’ my body and ending up in my milk. It was difficult to find a spirulina ONLY product that was not made in China or the likes. After falling for the false advertising that it is “grown in the Great Barrier Reef region” of Queensland Australia… I receive the product:MADE FROM 0% INGREDIENTS FROM AUSTRALIAThank you Straya for requiring this disclosure. Grown in China, pressed into a tablet in Australia is not acceptable or sufficient for me. Pretty ticked off to waste the time, get false hopes, be mislead, and have to deal with a return. Some of their other products denote 43%, 86%, etc Australian ingredients. However the pure spirulina-only is not grown in Oz as advertised! Buyer beware.

I like the size of these tabs, and the species of Spirulina they use is the healthiest, but I have a problem with the fact that they label their product as being filler and binder free, while at the same time they list the fact that they use a binder in their product. There is a clear issue here that no one in the company appears to have caught, and leaves me with some suspicion as to the integrity of the company.

Delicious, Easy to Swallow, Superfood!
Years ago the World Health Organization made the superfood designation and it continues to educate us all on the properties of healthy foods. Spirulina is definitely on the list and you will find it used by many types of people for different results and cultural purposes. I am not a health care provider, please consult yours before making your health care choices.I appreciate the multiple benefits provided by these blue green algae plant supplements. Protein and vitamins, minerals are all found in this pretty colored nutritional supplement. I was adding spirulina as a powder to my smoothies in the morning and was running out when I saw these and opted for the tablets. It was a great choice, affordable and so much easier on me at this time. There are 1000 tablets in the bag! It is quite similar to half the size of a tiny breath mint, it is really that small. You regulate and adjust your personal intake as per your nutrition and health needs, it is affordable for the amount. You will find the tiny tablets are very, very easy to swallow. The color is pretty and they are so small a dose is less than the size of a teaspoon and you could take that amount at one time if needed. It is a pleasant tasting supplement, you may or may not get the aftertaste but it is not bad at all if you did. I find that this is so easy, if I skip my smoothie while rushing here and there, these tiny tablets are easy to supplement by mouth. I find this to be much easier for me to take, I am less likely to forget, and it is so simple. I will reorder!
