    This book provides practical strategies for navigating the physical and emotional changes of midlife, managing stress, and finding deeper meaning.     This book is so good! Part 1 walks you through all the important base knowledge and then the importance of good dietary nutrition, including what’s needed for fracture recovery. The sections are short and punch, giving the evidence-based low-down on what you need to know and why it matters. Part 2 speaks to specific foods eg dairy, non-dairy, vegetables, protein etc that provide benefits, explaining quantities, clinical evidence, a nutritional breakdown and alternative options eg for lactose intolerant people. I really. liked how that section was laid out and the useful information provided. there was plenty i didn’t know, and was blown away by the thought that went into creating such a comprehensive prevention guide. Who knew that even sleep plays a role in bone density?! The 20 essentail recipes are ones that i’m definitely including in my meal rotation.
