Boscia Vegan Collagen Booster SerumApply two to three pumps to clean, dry skin and neck area. Use AM and PM for maximum benefits. Twist counterclockwise to open and clockwise to close.This is a thin, watery serum that reminds me of Hado Labo hyaluronic acid serum which is about a third of the price of this. You need to apply this to damp skin and follow up with a good cream or lotion that has occlusive properties to seal that into your skin or you will end up with rebound dryness. I found that it works well and contains some nice extracts. Quick-Absorbing, No Residue, Thin, No Fragrance, Skin Feels Soft
I think this is a nice little serum. I really like how thin it is- almost watery, but not quite. It is clear with no discernible scent and absorbs so quickly without leaving a trace. I don’t need to use much product at all to cover my entire face. I don’t even use a full pump (They recommend 2-3 pumps both AM and PM). Since there is no sticky or tacky residue, I feel completely comfortable using this both day and night.I seriously love the bottle dispenser. It holds 29.5ml and is so unique, as I haven’t seen one designed quite like this before. When you twist the top, the pump rises up so you can dispense the product. No additional cap or anything needed- the tip of the pump is covered once twisted back down. My only gripe is that I can’t tell how much much product is left.Is it really effective? I’m not quite sure. It is really for me hard to tell. I think I need to continue using to properly determine that. What I do know is that it seems like a gentle product as I have had no negative reaction or skin irritation. I do like the way it makes my skin feel after use- it is gentle and moisturizing. I feel like it is helping to keep my skin feeling soft.Always great that this is cruelty-free, 100% vegan, preservative-free, artificial fragrance and color-free, and gluten free as well.Overall, I like it; however, at $46 for 29.5ml I’m not quite sure if the value is there for me. That will depend on if I feel it is effective long term and how long this one bottle lasts me. I’ll be sure to update my review if any issues arise or if I have other comments to make. Great for oilier, more sensitive skin types. Thinner texture that absorbs quickly.
I am in my 40’s with a more oily skin type – but that doesn’t mean I’m not getting the fine lines and wrinkles like everyone else in certain areas. This Boscia Vegan Collagen Booster Serum is of a watery texture – but I like it that way, as it seems to absorb right into my skin without making it feel even more oily – and it keeps it soft.Being a began myself, I love that this is a vegan formula. I have sensitive skin, and this does not irritate it at all – in fact, it feels pretty good when I first apply it and even kinda soothing, and I can easily apply makeup over it if I don’t feel like putting on any extra moisturizer over it.It seems to help a little bit with fine lines in the short term thus far, although I have not been using it for a super long time to see more robust – if any – effects on larger wrinkles.I usually can tell when a serum works for me (especially with my sensitive skin), and this one is a winner for my particular skin type. If you have more dry skin than not, however, this may not be your end-all, be-all type serum and you may need something additional to your regime. Everyone is different, so depending on what you’re looking for, YMMV. For me, it gets two thumbs up!
