Essentially Flavorless
I read reviews that said it ruined coffee so I drank two cups dissolved in hot water as broth it was extremely mild flavor to completely flavorless. So I put it in my cage Vienna flavored coffee and don’t taste it at all. Good stuff overall only just started use so have to update on that end but did help to improve a head cold I’m recovering from after traveling.

Smells awful, but i can’t tell any difference in taste when i make protein shakes with it or add it to food. Its grainy but very fine, and dissolves ok but does better in a blender. Beef bone broth powder has much more in it than egg white or whey or even pea powders. This product is also lactose free. Am set up on subscribe and save, will buy and use again.

Inconsistent product
Let me start by saying I have been a customer of Bulk Supplements on and off for years. I have purchased several different products from Bulk Supplements in the past. This was my second time purchasing this bone broth from Bulk Supplements, my first time was just two months prior. The first batch I received had little to no smell and a mild flavor. It was easy to drink and a great way to add extra protein to my diet. This most recent bag had a very potent smell immediately upon opening the bag and an awful flavor. I thought I had just received a bad batch so I attempted a return, but that was not an option through amazon so I called the company directly. The customer service representative told me that they change suppliers and depending on which supplier they use, the product will have varying color, odor, and flavor. I explained to her that this bag is nothing like the previous one and completely inedible. She told me that I can return the product but I will only be refunded the amount of the smallest serving they sell for this product. So even though I bought the 2.2 pound bag for $37, because it was an open bag, I would only be refunded the amount for the 3.5oz bag, $14. This was extremely disappointing for me because I really enjoyed the first bag. Since this product is so inconsistent I will not be purchasing it again, it to too much of a gamble. Now I understand why the reviews for this product are so varied, sometimes the broth is just fine to drink, sometimes it’ll make your stomach churn. Unfortunately Bulk Supplements just lost a customer.

Dissolves well but definitely has a taste/smell/after taste, even when mixed in with flavored beverages. Would not recommend if you are planning on putting it in anything sweet or non savory

Bone broth is versatile great for tea, great for preparing meat using the broth. There’s no end to using this bone broth powder.

The product is excellent. Unfortunately it was delivered to the wrong address. The people that it was delivered to were kind enough to bring it to my house because it definitely had the right address on it.

Poor quality control, or poor storage conditions?
This was an excellent product… until it wasn’t. I’ve been using this bone broth powder for over a year. It was an excellent product, not bad smelling, and an easy way to get more protein into my diet. The last bag I received was absolutely inedible and rank. It smells, it tastes bad, and gave me a very upset stomach. I am hopeful it was a bad batch, but if the next bag is also bad I’ll have to find something else. Too bad. I like this brand and their prices.

Great savory protein fix!
I got the Beef Bone Broth powder, and it is amazing. Look no further if you have been looking for your protein fix but are tired of all the sweet flavors that your standard Whey proteins offer. I mix 2 servings of this powder with 16-20oz of hot water, along with 1-2 Wyler’s beef bouillon cubes and it tastes great. Also dissolves very well! So glad I found this stuff! Best price too.
