Very Good Product and Price. No Weird Additives.
The package of green tea extract was in excellent condition and actually arrived on time for overnight delivery, rather than late the following one or two days, as Amazon so often does. I weighed it on my scale. It weighed in at 9.2 ounces which is slightly heavier than the 8.8 ounces stated on the package. I habitually weight my packages, because I buy a lot of powder supplements and there are certain companies that have a habit of shorting the customer. I find that Bulk Supplements never does that, which is good.Bulk Supplements sometimes ships me supplements that are a little too close to their expiration dates, which is very annoying. It often leaves me with very little time to use the entire package, so then the whole purpose of buying in bulk to save some dough it pointless. This time, it worked out OK, though. The “Best Used By” date says that the product should be used by May 31st, 2027. At the time of this review, that would give me a little over two years to use up the product, which I think can easily be done. That makes me happy.The serving size for this green tea extract is 500 mg, which the package states is about 1/5th of a teaspoon. The package did not come with a spoon for measuring the servings out, which I find disappointing. Bulk Supplements used to supply small, plastic serving spoons or little scoops inside its packages for that purpose. It doesn’t appear to be doing that anymore, which is kind of sad. Now, you will need special measuring spoons or a scale that can measure in milligrams, if you want to be precise.The green tea extract seems to be pure. It lists no other ingredients or additives, which makes me very happy. I like it when the suppliers keep the products free fillers and other unwanted things. The extract powder itself is very fine. It is not gritty at all. It has an orangish brown color to it and it smells lovely. It has a sort of sweet fruity green smell to it, like fermented black tea. In dry form, it tastes awful. It is very tannic and bitter. However, it mixes extremely well in my hot beverages without clumping and the flavors and smells that it imparts actually melds quite well with some drinks, such as in hot chocolate with cinnamon or with coffee. It kind of gives the beverages some mild fruity notes.I’m not a fan of green tea, but I do like its health benefits, so being able to mix the green tea extract with something else to mask the flavor and to make it more palatable is ideal. Otherwise, I have to fill capsules. Over all, I am very happy with my purchase. It was well worth the money I paid.

Use a part of a protocol for visceral fat reduction… goid value… bitter taste but I mix it in tea or some lemon water and it is working…visceral is being reduced

I ordered this supplement after reading the purity levels and accuracy of labeling on labdoor.com and they were rated #1 Green Tea supplement compared to 25 other brands. The lab report states that 270mg of catechins +150mg of caffeine combined have been shown to aid in weight loss. The caffeine content of this brand and all other brands were recorded well below the 150mg of caffeine daily. It was measured at 1.07mg/serving. The bag says to consume no more than 500mg of the supplement per day so I’m assuming the 1.07mg/serving of caffeine is measured at 500mg. If you take less than that then you obviously get a lower dosage of caffeine. The bag also states not intended of use over 3 months time. Since the caffeine levels are so low I’m not sure why that is the time recommendation. I’ve had this supplement for about 1 week and I take 360 mg/day because I only have a 1/8 tsp at home not a 1/16 tsp for the maximum dosage. My daily routine consists of going to either run or yoga at 630 am and then coming home and blending myself a protein shake and that’s when I add the 360mg of green tea. I can’t taste the supplement at all and I do notice that I get an instant jump of energy to help power me through the morning. I’ve never been a coffee drinker so even though this supplement has a low dosage of caffeine, I can feel it’s effects pretty quickly. I have noticed that my I’m not as hungry after drinking the protein shake mixed with green tea as opposed to drinking only the protein shake after my workout. I get hungry about 11-1130 which is perfect timing for lunch. Since it’s only been a week that I’ve been taking the supplement I haven’t noticed any weight loss but maybe that will change as time goes on. I’m a 5’8 female and weight approx. 148 so in about 2-3 weeks I’ll come back and update this review to see if any weight has been lost.Overall I would say that this supplement is beneficial to have even if it does not help with weight loss, the green tea is highest in antioxidants that fight free radicals in the body and aid in a smooth aging process. It’s always hard to figure out which supplement to choose from due to there being so many which is why I’m grateful that I was shown labdoor.com who make it easier to find the purest and most beneficial supplement!
