No real scent to speak of.When I read on the back of their “healing ointment” that it was 46.5% petrolatum as the active ingredient I was highly skeptical that it’d actually work… I had tried probably 6 other products to try and cure a spot in a bad region that was continuously itching and keeping me awake at night it was so bad… Tried the CeraVe healing ointment, and while it didnt make the problem go away immediately, I did notice a significant reduction in itching and a big improvement (but not complete solution) in comfort within the next couple days…

Awful Packaging but Great Product
There are pros and cons to this product. I bought it based on my dermatologist’s recommendation. The product itself is very effective, and I’ve noticed a significant difference in my hands. However, the description claims it’s non-greasy, but it is. Therefore, I can only use it before going to bed.I strongly recommend you avoid the tube packaging and opt for the jar instead. The product is so thick that it’s extremely difficult to squeeze out of the tube. I tried various methods before giving up and buying the jar. That’s why I’m giving it a 4-star rating, with the packaging being the only reason for the lower rating.I wish I had found this product years ago because I’ve spent a lot of money on other products only for it not to work. It has helped my extremely dry skin, cracked hands and finger tips, and dry, cracking cuticles. You won’t be disappointed!

I read a lot about this salve online before I purchase it and I was a bit skeptical because everyone seemed to rave about it but I have to agree with the consensus, it is great. You can basically put it on anything minor skin related and it soothes and heals. I have tried other balms but I like this one better because it seems very gentle but also powerful. Highly recommend!

This ointment is really a miracle for itchy skin! I been using benzoyl peroxide cleanser and I follow up with my A ret cream after skin care which caused my skin to be extremely dry and itchy at night time, it’s really working amazingly without clogging my pores or breaking out my skin!
