Crominex 3+ is a form of chromium, which is an essential trace mineral. It is important for maintaining healthy glucose metabolism. The other two ingredients act to decrease LDL or bad cholesterol. No one should blindly take supplements based on the name or the seller’s claims. IMO, it is essential that you understand both the benefits and cautions of the listed ingredients so you can decide what is right for you. In this case it is particularly true if you are taking statins or other medications, or have concern for your kidney and liver function. This review is not the place for that discussion. Information can be found online. PubMed is an excellent source of peer-reviewed scientific literature.I found Wellwithall to be an excellent company. This is based on my request to see the analytical data for my specific patch. By providing the bar code number they promptly responded with the results (attached). Based on the reviewed analysis, I am confident that the product is as reasonably safe as possible. They identified that any containment tested for was far below the acceptable range. Their formulation also met the label information, not perfectly of course, but extremely close as not to matter.I cannot report any benefits within the time I have been taking this supplement. Such benefits would be based on blood work that shows changes in cholesterol-related parameters. I do not feel different and never expected to, especially within only a few weeks. What I can say is that there have been no adverse reactions; no upset stomach, no acid reflux or heart burn, no indigestion, no after taste, nothing at all.Clearly, I cannot recommend that just anyone take this supplement. I can recommend it if you did your due diligence and understand the benefits and potential problems based on your situation. If you decide that this is what you want, I have every confidence that this is a worthy product, responsibly formulated, and safely manufactured.Since this is manufactured in the USA, it comes from an FDA registered facility. Please note that all facilities involved with the manufacture of dietary supplements must be registered with the FDA. This is required by law (The Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002, and its implementing regulations). FDA registration does not assure the proper composition of the product, or verifies its ingredients. It only assures that the facility is suited for production of a product intended for human consumption.They also state Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). This is a set of guidelines that promote proper personnel, products, methods of production, and general facility conditions. This is a plus but the holy grail of manufacturing practices is USP (United States Pharmacopoeia) recognition. This product is not identified as USP certified. That is important to me but seeing the analytical data assured me that this manufacture is trustworthy.I feel justified in rating with five stars. This is not a reflection of its formulation or its efficacy but rather on it being responsibly manufactured. I have confidence that it is what they say it is without dangerous contaminants (within their analytical limits).

No taste but interesting odor
This is easy to swallow and doesn’t have a taste but does have a synthetic and herbal smell. My husband likes these and has ordered them twice and so far they seem to be helping! Good value for the cost I think.

Got this for my 69 year old mother who is experiencing high cholesterol. She had zero issues with swallowing and taste.No side effects. Seems to be working. Expiration date: 01/27. Look up the clinical trials for Citrus Bergamot.

High Chromium Amount
So far, this supplement has been easy to take with no side effects. The capsules go down smoothly, though I wouldn’t recommend taking them on an empty stomach. I felt a bit of heartburn when I did. I take one with breakfast, and that’s worked well for me with no side effects. It’s marketed for cholesterol support, and while I’m not sure how much of a difference it’ll make, the ingredients seem solid overall, especially the bergamot. Some of the other components have mixed evidence, and the chromium dose is on the higher side, but still within safe limits for most people. It seems like a quality product, and I appreciate the good value for a 2-month supply. Curious to see the long-term results!

This Citrus Bergamot, Policosanol & Crominex supplement is a great way to boost your overall health. I selected it to support my cholesterol and provide some extra antioxidant protection and have been delighted with some other, unexpected side benefits. I am handling stress better, which helps me sleep better and thus increases my energy levels. I also feel like it is helping my digestion system and my skin has a more vibrant glow.The capsules are easy to swallow. They have a smell I notice when I open the bottle, but no taste. I would not recommend taking these on an empty stomach as you may experience nausea or heartburn. I take 1 capsule with breakfast or dinner and that is working out for me. The recommended dose is 1 capsule a day and seems to be high quality. I am looking forward to seeing what the long term benefits are after finishing the bottle. I love that this is a good value for the 2-month supply you receive in each bottle.

Might help cholesterol
I’m having no side effects, and the product seems well made. It’s advertised for helping cholesterol levels, but I’m not sure it’s really going to make much of a difference. From my reading, the bergamot is the ingredient most likely to deliver on that promise. Policosanol has had mixed results (helps in some trials, does nothing in others), but nothing bad has come of it at least. The most controversial ingredient is chromium. It doesn’t directly help with cholesterol, but may help with overall metabolic health. The problem is that the dose is rather high. So, to get the positive effects of the bergamot, you’d have to take this for a long time, at which point you’d be risking some side effects from the chromium if you’re sensitive to it. But, most people are fine on that dose (200 mcg). So, it might be worth a try, and is mostly healthy stuff even if your cholesterol doesn’t drop as a result.
