Let’s be real — I bought this cod liver oil mostly because I wanted to say I take “heart, brain, and immune supplements” without having to eat actual fish (ew). Hard to swallow
The “soft gels” in my bag are hard as a rock, and I have a difficult time swallowing them.So, I bite the capsule after it’s been in my mouth for a few, and release the oil that way.It is not unpleasant, it’s lemony with a bit of fishy after taste that doesn’t last long at all.

A little difficult swallowing
I’m certain this is good for me. However, they are rather large and a little difficult to swallow… not necessarily too large, but the texture is not smooth like a gel cap, they have a slight texture to them. No odor or bad taste. I like how they do not stick together like some gel caps do. I am taking two, one at a time vs the recommended three. Don’t advise taking three at a time though. I had quite a large order and these arrived in good condition, as well as my remaining items. Time will tell how helpful they are.

Gel caps are small enough, but are extremely hard. I drop one into my daily vitamin water mix, not sure I could safely swallow, but that’s me.
