There is a learning curve to applying this eye serum but just to say, less is more. You don’t need much. I let it sit for a few minutes and then continue to tap it in. It is sticky but eventually sinks in. I’m an esthetician and have tried soooo many eye products and this one has impressed me the most as far as how quickly you see results. I’m 53 and when I wear eye makeup it sometimes settles into the inner corner wrinkles that are normal for my age. This eye serum has solved that issue. I look in the mirror stunned. I also think it helps prolong my eye makeup during the day and simply firms the delicate skin around the eyes. For now I’m only using this product during the day and another eye cream at night. This product is pricey but with how small of an amount you need, this will last you a good while. I will be recommending this to clients.

This product is really good if you ask me. I bought it in march 2023, and I’ve been using it daily since then. The tube is TINY and it’s not cheap but I’ve been using it for 9 months so value seems ok? I’m not even out of it yet but I’ll reorder soon.I have basically no wrinkles under my eyes, and my skin is soft and moisturized there when I use it. I had some fine lines before but this product really works well.I see a lot of reviews talking about it being blue and shiny and the color not going away, as well as sticky, and not working with make up well. They may not be using it well because I have none of these problems.IMPORTANT: I use it in the morning before make up only. It will be sticky if you only use this.After washing my face, I mist with water and apply a vitamin C&E serum, followed by lightweight cica moisturizer all over. Once that dries, I squeeze 4-5 “flat dots” of COSMEDIX Opti Crystal Liquid Eye Serum under my eyes. I do this by squeezing a tiny bit and dabbing it directly onto my skin from the tube itself. I say “flat dots” because you need a small amount, not a blob of it. it’s super important not to use too much.After that I pat it out all over under my eye with my ring finger. Once it’s all spread out, if it’s still quite blue, you have too much. at this point I see a shiny/sticky appearance, but not blue or aurora.Next, I apply matte BB cream and use the same patting out technique under my eye until desired coverage is achieved.BB cream is then followed by mineral foundation powder and by this point there is zero stickiness, my make up holds up well throughout the day with no creasing and maintaining a smooth appearance.I hope this helps.

This stuff is miraculous!!!
I first got this at a clinic that only uses organic or high quality products. I wasn’t sure at first that it was worth the money, but in no time, I had so many people commenting on my eyes. I stopped wearing concealer and my fine lines have greatly diminished. I have now been using this for over a year and I will not buy anything else. My 76 year old mother started using it and saw a huge difference under her eyes as well!

UPDATE- I spoke to Cosmedix and they confirmed that it is legit product, plus Amazon replaced the one that arrived leaking. At this price the Opti Crystal is a bargain price. You only use a pinprick amount so it lasts for months and is a highly effective eye product. My review has now changed to 5 stars.Original review: I’ve purchased this product previously from a different retailer and know it’s great. But this Opti Crystal arrived with neither the tube or box protected with any kind of seal. The product has also leaked into the lid. It feels like someone has previously opened and tried it before returning. Either way it feels unhygienic. I’m returning and requested a replacement. I’m also going to check with Cosmedix on how it should be packaged. (Opti Crystal I’d usually around £90, so if legit this is a bargain price, or it could be too good to be true. I’ll update when I find out more from Cosmedix.)

I have been using Opti Crystal for only 2 weeks, incorporated on my night time skin routine — the result has me pleasantly surprised and absolutely pleased! The skin under my eyes is now super smooth and visibly hydrated. No wonder the rave reviews for this product are kept coming. I used a few other eyecream brands before, nothing compares to Opti Crystal. It is the best and I am hooked 🙂

This serum is very sticky to put on and pulls at the skin while you distribute it. I’ve found between using the serum and the CosMedix eye cream, my eyeliner is always smudged after a couple of hours. It did initially make the skin feel firmer but I won’t be buying it again.
