I’ve been buying this continually for at least ten years and I can’t imagine going a day without it! It makes my skin so soft and hydrated and has faded post acne pigmentation. It is lightweight and unscented and I use it as one of the last steps in my routine just before using a moisturizer and SPF. The bottle lasts quite awhile with daily use, so it is very cost effective. I recommend this to anyone looking for a gentle, effective vitamin C serum.

You know, I’m a guy. As a guy, it’s hard to swallow my pride and try these beauty products because hey, a man is supposed to look like he’s been living in the woods for decades right?NO. Some guys want to look pretty and flawless too!Anyway, this serum is ridiculously amazing. Saw this on WishTrendTV randomly a long long time ago, but didn’t really look into it again til I watched JoanKeem’s youtube video and saw her review this. I did the whole basic cleanser, toner, moisturizer with the occasional mask… it works but… yeah. If you add this serum, I swear, the results are ten-fold.It’s insane because if you hear about a product that gives you results after one use, majority of the time it is completely bull. BUT THIS. I LITERALLY saw results after one night. My face is definitely smoother, hyper-pigmentation is fading away a little faster (with exfoliating of course), skin is whitening (a little), but the best feeling is when other people notice it. After 1 week, people asked me if I was doing something new (I have pretty bad skin lol) and BAM this serum is the key. Ugh…. this serum is bomb yo.Anyway, I only use 3 drops of this (one on each cheek and one on my forehead) right after I use my toner. It has a slight tingling feeling/warmth to it as you put it on… as if your face is heating up, but it’s a good feeling. It kind of shmears like oil, but it dries really nicely and helps your face feel insanely plump and moisturized. I put on my lotion right afterwards and I’m good to go.Unfortunately I don’t have a before/after picture, but just trust me. This serum will seriously NOT disappoint.ps. Keep away from direct sun and any place that might heat up. I actually keep mine in the fridge cause that’s what a lot of beauty gurus recommend for storing serums.

First off, my skin is t-zone oily and i have a handful of acne scars and hyper pigmentation around my chin/mustache area. I have been routinely using this product for a solid week now. This doesn’t burn my skin (i have thickish skin) and it doesn’t have any strong smell but there is a slight smell. Its easy to apply and on good days it doesn’t leave my skin oily after applying it.Overall Verdict: You have to give this product some time for you to see tremendous changes. Its slow in fading scars and hyper pigmentation but skin texture is ridiculously smooth. I like it but its really slow for me but i will continue to use it.1. Acne Scar fading: This works well on scars that are already fading. If you have really harsh scars then it could take a lot longer (of course) but it may be disheartening to people who think it works quickly because it doesn’t.2. Skin Texture: Using this product for this purpose is actually amazing. This has really improved the texture of my skin. Its really smooth and not very bumpy. I love feeling how smooth my skin is (lol i know im not suppose to touch my face so much).3. Hyper pigmentation: This is like the acne scar issue. Its really slow in progress. I have pigments around my chin area and i see slight changes but its not a huge difference i was expecting.

Visible brightening after just one use
I bought this serum to even out and brighten my skin tone, and it really feels like it works from the very first application. I applied it at night to clean skin, and by morning, I noticed my complexion looked noticeably lighter and more even. It can cause a slight tingling sensation, especially if you apply too much — and some redness may appear, so I would recommend being cautious if you have sensitive skin or allergies. The only downside is the short shelf life — just 2 months. Still, the results are impressive!

Sensitive to Vitamin C products? Don’t try this.
Used it once and it gave me a terrible rash all over my face that took a few weeks to subside. I thought the lower concentration of vitamin C would work for my very sensitive and dry skin but it was still too much (I’ve come to accept that my skin just HATES vitamin C anything). I have been using it every evening on my déclotteé for its anti aging benefits and I have no reaction there. The serum is very light weight and absorbs easily. I love and use many Klairs products but this was a miss for me. If you are also sensitive to vitamin c, I would not recommend this product but it DOES seem to be working well on other areas for anti aging benefits. 3 stars because I can still use it on my body and it won’t go to waste.

A natural glow
I noticed it felt very greasy compared to all the other vitamin C serums I’ve used BUT it layered well with my other products under my makeup no issues and after I put my makeup on it no longer felt greasy. I do notice a glow on day 1 so seeing that I don’t mind the greasy texture. I’m happy so far 🙂
