Finally, a product that relieves my itchy scalp!Pros:~fresh scent of mint and tea tree oil~tingly clean scalp and hair~soothes the itch due to summer heat and sweat~leaves my silver hair very clean and easy to style~very economical! Only a very small amount the size of pea for my thick shoulder length hair produces a copious amount of thick frothy suds!!!Cons:~astringent cleaning leaves my hair a little tangled but a small bit of conditioner takes care of that. Again, my hair, when dry, is fresh and clean and easy to style.~the bottles pop-open top is hidden. I had to put a mark on it to find it easily.

Best Itchy Scalp Solution
This is more of a clarifying shampoo, not moisturizing. It removes the scalp gunk and grime (and also hair products) very well. It leaves my scalp happy, not overly dry and itchy like some scalp clarifying shampoos.When you apply this product to your scalp, you can feel it cleaning and soothing at the same time. It’s an amazing product. Was so tired of my head itching all night long. Stopped it immediately.The only things I would change is the bottle size and the lid. Bottle size is too small. Hardly any product comes out of the pop-up lid because the hole is too small and the product has a very thick consistency, so have to unscrew it and screw it back on with wet, slippery hands. Needs a flip top with a bigger hole.You will likely need to follow with conditioning shampoo, conditioner, or both. I have my favorites that I use afterwards.This product is far superior to other salicylic shampoos because they get rid of scalp grime but make my head itch terribly, especially at night.

I’ve been using this for about six months now. I don’t have eczema or any major scalp issues, but since being in perimenopause I have a very itchy dry scalp sometimes and was looking for something more natural to help with that. This shampoo and condition combo work great for me. I love the scent, they leave my hair clean, fun and looking great. I had to knock a star off however because the bottles are absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to squeeze product out of. I don’t know what kind of thick, not pliable plastic they are using on these, but I am an in shape person with no arthritic or grip issues and I can even get product out of these without unscrewing the top and just pouring it out. Because it’s free of all the icky ingredients and works good for me I continue to buy it despite the bottle issue, but it’s a definite problem they should address.

Forget the stiff bottle- you’re gonna LOVE this stuff!
I developed psoriasis this year (so. much. fun.) and I was in need of a shampoo that met several criteria: relieve my miserable, itchy scalp, clean my hair well (I have 2B curly hair), and be free of sulfates, phthalates, parabens, silicone, and other harmful substances. This shampoo is great! It’s all of those things. It helps relieve my scalp, cleans and refreshes it, and it leaves my hair sooooo soft and clean. The bottle IS hard and a challenge to squeeze, but I just unscrew the cap and pour it into my hand. Voila! I also enjoy the scent. It can be slightly drying, so after I shampoo with it, I use a rich conditioner made for naturally curly hair and my hair feels like a million bucks.Highly recommend. Try this stuff. You won’t be sorry.

FIX. THE. BOTTLE.
Usually Love this conditioner but lately this brand has 1) made the bottle IMPOSSIBLE to squeeze with 1 hand. I have to use both hands EVERY time to squeeze some out. It’s extremely annoying. FIX. YOUR. BOTTLE.2) the cap came off in the box and the conditioner spilled everywhere. Please fix your freaking cap!! Good lord. The cap is so fragile and breaks all the time and the little aluminum-plastic over the hole that “seals” the bottle, always is a b*tch to get off. Make sure to have some tweezers on hand.Also, I think they might have changed the formula? This used to give my scalp a tingly feeling and the tea tree oil smell was more pronounced, but now, not so much.Just sucks because this brand of conditioner is the only thing that helps my dandruff. Guess I have to look elsewhere now.

Good shampoo, bad bottle
Like everyone else the huge negative is the bottle, it’s very hard plastic. The top has some sharp places on it and if you press a bad spot it hurts especially with wet slippery hands.The shampoo itself is top of the heap. Really makes my hair and scalp feel better. Great shine.

Works great! Resolved my issues really quickly. Its the only shampooing conditioner I buy now. The conditioner is a pain to get out, leave the bottle upside down in your shower and it makes it a lot easier to get out.

So let me first say that i’m not a fan of the Derm-e line, i’ve used many other products from them with bad results, but I gotta give them credit for this one, this is a good shampoo. I have extremely sensitive skin and dry scalp, this shampoo did not irritate my scalp at all, when my hair dried off there was no itch, that’s not the case with most shampoos I use, great for reactive, sensitive , dry scalp, didn’t feel the tingling on the scalp like some of the other reviews I read but regardless it worked, no itching, it will be my winter shampoo and conditioning line, it is slightly drying so you will need to follow up with a good conditioner, i used the derma-e line as well and the conditioner is also good, no complaints

After suffering from itchy scalp and dandruff for over 10 years, I’ve used many various forms of shampoos and conditioners. None really helped and only dried out my scalp, stripped them of any natural oils/nutrients.Usually use T Gel 2-in-1 but that alone was half the battle. After reading many reviews I decided to purchase this conditioner. Delivered and used today, it certainly made a difference when used in conjunction with T Gel.A small amount goes a long way and you can feel the tea tree and menthol work within 10 seconds, the intense tingling sensation was powerful but a delight on the scalp. (Wait the recommended time 3-5 minutes after massage).After a rinse and pat dry, my head feels refreshed and not too tight, no irritation or itching. Passing my hand through revealed almost little to no flakes at all.Hopefully my scalp will be 10/10 (for once!) within the 7 days as advertised. Also good to note I used a silicon scalp massager in the shower, just to loosen any flakes/stubborn patches.
