Wow, this stuff is wonderful!
I have afro textured hair, and I have such a sensitive scalp. I have allergies, my scalp always seems to be itchy and irritated, and a lot of products just make it all worse. My hair is also really, REALLY dry, but at the same time, I really don’t like overloading my hair with products. Like I am so uncomfortable if my head and scalp feel greasy and covered in “stuff”. So, finding a product that soothes my scalp but doesn’t leave me feeling greasy has been a big challenge… but I think I’ve finally found it!! This stuff is GREAT. I apply it to my scalp once a day, and it’s such a cooling, refreshing tingle. I love that. It is kind of a thicker consistency, so I was worried it might have greasy vibes, but nope, it goes on really nice and I don’t feel like I’m covered in gunk. I plan to keep this as a regular part of my hair care routine now! I’m so impressed and happy! Relief at last!If you aren’t a fan of tingly sensations, you might not like this product—but I am 100% here for it. It absolutely soothes my scalp. I am normally ALWAYS itchy and it’s super bothersome. I have eczema, sensitive skin, allergies, all that good stuff, and it feels like I’ve finally found something perfect for soothing my skin. If anything changes, I’ll update my review, but so far I am totally in love! Thank you for this amazing product! I’m excited to try more from this brand.

My scalp was itching like crazy. I felt like I was scratching the hair off my head. Since using this product, my scalp does not itch and my hair is filling in. Love the cool feeling as well as the soothing effect. So glad I found this product….!!!!!

Not as tingly as I remember
Overall this is a great product. I have been using Design Essentials for well-over a decade, and it hasn’t failed me yet. My recent purchase doesn’t tingle as much as the past. Maybe the formulation is different or, I received an odd batch. At any rate, I’m still a fan of Design Essentials.

Design Essentials are a pricey but good hair treatment brand. This product for me, moisturises the scalp and hair roots. One application to the whole scalp lasts for up to 5 days and stops itching when scalp dries out. Love the smell of natural ingredients incorporated in it too. It really works well with my natural hair. Highly recommend it.
