Incredible Ointment
I am a fan of Dr. Barbara O’Neill. She often refers to Comfy as an herb/ointment to help with joint pain. I recently had an injury on my hand and cut my index finger very deep. I knew I needed stitches but instead I took care of the cut myself and didn’t get medical help. As soon as the cut closed I began to experience pain on my finger, I could not bend it and part of hand began to swell. At that point the wound was close and I began to massage comfrey ointment on my finger and hand 2-3 times a day. By the second day I was almost pain free. By the third day the swelling was gone. I had little pain to bend my finger and make a fist. I continued using the ointment for about another 2 weeks but only massaged it into my hand at night and wrapped it with a bandage.Today is 1 month since my injury and my hand/finger is completely healed. The other thing I am amazed about is that my finger doesn’t have a scar at all!

Salve for broken arm
Used this salve to help promote the healing in an arm fracture. The bone healed quickly and I can only assume that this salve helped speed that along. The consistency is nice and soaks in quickly. Doesn’t really have a scent. It’s a small jar, but a little bit of salve goes a long way.
