I am reviewing Doctor’s Best Women’s Heart Complex, This supplement Contains K2, flaxseed oil, grape seed oil, sunflower oi, and co enzyme. Serving size 1 a day, Made in USA and . It’s easy to swallow, no bad aftertaste. Packed with good ingredients for heart health. Overall it is not possible to say if it works but the features provided is convincing and I believe I can trust this.

Healthy heart ingredients and an energy boost
First, I love that it’s gluten-free, soy-free, and non-GMO, which makes it a great option for those with dietary restrictions. I was looking for something to support my heart health as I’m getting older, and this supplement seemed to fit the bill. I appreciate the combination of ingredients, like CoQ10 and Pomegranate extract, which are known to support both heart health and cellular energy.

The pills were easy to swallow, not too large like some supplements. It’s hard to say if they “work” or not because it’s not something that provides visible results. I do know that Doctor’s Best is a reputable company and therefor, I believe this is a good product.

Take only with a doctor’s supervision
I started taking this supplement immediately after receiving a pacemaker. Shortly thereafter I started experiencing shortness of breath and severe edema (swelling due to water retention). I cannot say that the Doctor’s Best Women’ Heart Complex was the cause of my symptoms (which have now been treated and relieved). I can only relate my experience and suggest that others consult their physicians before taking this or any supplement, and I therefore make no recommendation concerning the purchase or use of this product.

Easy to take, good assortment of ingredients
I try to take at least 100-200mg of Coenzyme Q10 per day, due to its myriad positive benefits as seen in research studies. This Heart Complex also provides 300mg of Flaxseed Oil for fatty acids, Vitamin K, and Grapeseed Oil, all of which are supposed to have heart-healthy benefits.These softgels are medium size, easy to swallow, and have no aftertaste. I took one with breakfast and one with lunch, and had no digestive upset or negative effects. Overall, I’m please with this supplement!

I find these rounded softgels harder to swallow than a regular capsule. I am pleased with the combination of ingredients as they have decent evidence for nutritional and/or heart benefits. Having a 2 month supply is convenient, and having to only take one is good, though I’d take 2 to have smaller capsules. I was able to find the information used to develop the supplement on the Doctor’s Best website, and the 3 referenced studies that I looked up do exist (there were more, but I just tried a few).The color is a little off-putting, as I expected yellow, but it has green undertones. Inside is a dark red viscous liquid. There is no taste to the softgels, and no after-taste later.
