Long time user and LOVE IT!
I’ve been using this for years and I love it! I always get compliments on my skin and the problematic mid-life acne is non-existent.I will say, though, that I highly recommend using the oil cleanser to get a better experience. Also, I live in the desert so I add aloe Vera before the moisturizer in this kit. But, again, this is more because my area is extremely dry.

Wow! An Asian friend turned me on to these products and he was not wrong. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my complexion. I’m on my third set and the amounts are just right for me. It smells wonderful and light. For Christmas I am buying my friends sets.I’ve added their exfoliating cream, a vitamin c serum and a hyaluronic acid to round out my skin care routine. To say I am pleased with this purchase is an understatement.

I’ve tried many products for my blotched complexion and this is the only one I’ve found that calms it down immediately. My complexion immediately looks less red and more even toned than I’ve seen it in years. I love these products!!

Not enthused about this “upgraded” version
I’m giving 3 stars only because this USED to be a great brand and I’m nostalgic about that. They really deserve only 1 or 2 now! I’ve been buying Donginbi products over 3 years at least. I started with this kit and then added other things from the brand. Back then the formulas were different. They smelled more natural and stronger of the ginseng root. This new version seems watered down and not nearly as hydrating or potent. The softener for instance use to be almost like a very thin watery gel that felt amazing and very moisturizing. It came in a pump bottle. Now, it comes in a bottle similar to any other watery toner with the small dispensing hole and it has the texture of plain water. It doesn’t do much at all. Same with the single essence, it used to smell of ginseng and earth. Now it is more viscous and smells like nothing but chemicals. I don’t like the cleanser either. The older version also smelled of ginseng and was much more hydrating and that is greatly missed. The moisturizer is thinner as well and again, no longer has that distinctive ginseng aroma that I loved and enjoyed as an added aromatherapy bonus. EXTREMELY disappointed in Donginbi for downgrading not only the quality of the packaging (the bottles look cheap now), but also the actual formulations, not that they care lol. But, considering the prices they ask, for me its no longer worth it! I’m mad. As a black woman, finding great skincare without irritaion was hard. I feel low key betrayed! They have switched up everything. I wish these companies would just leave well enough alone!!! We have a saying in my line of work (surgery), the opposite of “good” is “better”, meaning LEAVE IT ALONE IF IT ALREADY WORKS BEFORE YOU RUIN IT WITH YOUR “IMPROVEMENTS”!!!!!!! After I finish this kit, it will be my last and I’ll be moving onto Sulwhasoo or a different brand. VERY DISAPPOINTED long time customer!
