THOROUGH review from anxiety sufferer: so far so good!
So this came today. I don’t drink alcohol anymore but used to quite a bit so I am familiar with a lot of reasons to look into this kind of thing instead. That being said, I still went into this being pessimistic, realistic, and re-checking all ingredients multiple times. The taste? I got blue raspberry, my favorite flavor of any candy, and it reminded me of all the BCAA’s I used to drink before workouts at the gym a few years ago. I mixed it with sprite personally for the lemon lime offset. Yes the flavor is a little funky but so is anything artificially blue rasp. However it did not bother me at any point to make me want to get rid of it our pour it out. Tastes just like a workout supplement honestly. After taste of that was gone for me quickly. As someone who struggles with anxiety, high stress, etc… I did feel some natural calm shortly after drinking. It’s been 10 minutes and no tingling for me yet but I also drank this without much extra liquid and shortly after eating when it had arrived at my door. I do not feel in any way “drunk”, but do feel a calm like I mentioned that I can only describe as “natural and soothing”. No impairment felt here, just relaxed and noticeably already stressing less and not ruminating over troublesome thoughts. No cravings or growing desire to “drink another” which another great sign for me. Checked the ingredients as I probably already mentioned. No THC. I would recommend but choose your favorite flavor as you would like a workout drink – it’s not cotton candy, may be a sipping drink over a few minutes, but it’s also not at all awful or extreme to where I’d want to put it down and just walk away due to taste. So far I’d recommend. Strangely no Kava sensations of tingling for me yet but again I did also happen to have a full stomach when it arrived. So far still worth the shot! Ordered from a big competitor (U Calming) and should see what those are like in the next week. Until then, I’ll keep you posted on these guys!!

Interesting concept but mixed results
I was curious to try this as a calming, feel-good alternative, and the quality of the product seems decent. The flavor (blue raspberry) is okay, though a little artificial. I did notice a mild calming effect after drinking it, which helped me unwind, but the effectiveness was inconsistent — sometimes I felt relaxed, other times not much at all. It definitely gives a light “feel good” buzz, but the strength is weaker than expected, so don’t expect a strong impact. Health benefit claims feel a bit overstated, but it’s a fun option to have on hand if you’re looking for something different.

You just have to try it to get it
I’m now kicking myself for dismissing this stuff as a gimmick for waaay too long. Those Calming Co. ads kept popping up on my Facebook feed and I finally got curious. I decided to research it a bit before paying premium prices to see what the ‘buzz’ could possibly come from without alcohol. Turns out it’s from a plant called Kava which has natural sedatives in it, natural being the important word. Like other substances that are long overdue to be legalized this gives you the relaxation you want from alcohol without the consequences like headache, nausea, impaired judgement and memory loss. I spent 20 years drinking way too much alcohol before deciding enough was enough, was going to go completely sober but that’s just begging for a relapse which is ultimately what lead me to giving this a shot. And unlike the addictive nature of alcohol I didn’t feel any need at all to have a second drink as one was completely satisfying. Some are saying they don’t like the taste, which is fair. I impulsively bought a huge supply of creatine at my gym years ago and this tastes exactly the same so it wasn’t much of a shock to me and I find it actually tastes pretty good. Then again who are we kidding, aside from maybe a hazy ipa or top shelf liquor most alcoholic drinks don’t taste that great either. Others are saying it didn’t do anything to them, that I’m genuinely shocked by. If anyone has a familiarity with mind altering substances it’s me and I was convinced this would be little more than a placebo, but I was very wrong. I understand everything effects people differently but I don’t know how someone could not feel ANYTHING after drinking this. I’ll be honest, the presentation sold me on this. The ‘Psychedelic’ brand name mixed with the individual serving packets and the very reasonable price (U Relax is twice as much) all sold my curiosity completely. I chose to ignore the mixed reviews and I’m sure glad I did. I now have use for all my liquor glasses again as mixing it with an 8 oz can of tonic water combines perfectly on ice. I’m going to try other Kava drinks eventually but this one was definitely a good place to start, cheers.

Relaxing
I definitely feel more relaxed with this. The flavor is more like if a LaCroix and cheap watermelon chewing gum had a baby. But I don’t dislike the flavor, just do not expect a real flavor, more like the essence of a thought of flavor.Additionally, it does not give you the same feeling of drinking, so do not get this if you are trying to mimic and alcohol buzz.

The taste is off.
I was not impressed by this product. The taste seemed off, I love anything watermelonn, I drank a few packs over a few days, added sugar, hoping I could get used to it, but that didn’t happen. If you drink more than one packet in the evening before bed, I drank two before I went to bed, and woke feeling like I had a hangover with a headache. Not as bad as alcohol, but noticeable. My sleep came like I took a PM. But between the taste and the aftereffects, I haven’t drunk it since. I am looking for something healthier and better than alcohol; this product didn’t come close. It may be different for someone else. The effects weren’t anything to write home about either. Not sure how I felt while drinking it, relaxed wasn’t what I would call it. I didn’t find it pleasant enough to order it a second time

Didn’t feel the vibes
Eh, now I dont have any prior experience with kava so I really can’t tell you if this did anything or not, but it’s got a taste not everyone will love. The watermelon tried it’s best it really did, but you can still taste the kava. And again, no real discernable effects but I’ll keep trying it anyway.
