Lovely Light Scent, Hydrating & Soothing, Oil Based But NonGreasy, May Prevent Stretch Marks
Edandi BUMP BALM may be formulated for stretch mark prevention but is a hydrating balm that can be used as a moisturizer by others too. I’m not much of a fragrance fan, but this balm has subtle scent that smells lovely. To me, it smells fruity and lightly sweet but isn’t cloying at all. It’s a soft but brighter mood lifting scent instead of heavy or musky.This balm has a strong natural emphasis except it has parfum as an ingredient. The site states that the body care products contain 1% fragrance from France. Fragrance is a known irritant and my skin is sensitive, but this balm doesn’t irritate my skin at all. It also doesn’t trigger my allergies or headaches. I really love the scent.This balm is an oil based buttery formula, but it absorbs well and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on my skin. I warm it between my fingers and it spreads easily. I have dry skin and have substituted this balm for regular moisturizer, and this balm hydrates my skin really well and leaves it feeling calm and comfortable. My skin can get itchy from dryness, but hasn’t been itchy using this balm.I can’t test this to see if it prevents pregnancy stretch marks. But I do believe they can be prevented with daily use of an oil based product. I applied an oil based product every day during pregnancy, starting the day after I found out even though it was early. I was 39 and gained 75+ lbs but didn’t get any pregnancy stretch marks. I can’t say this balm will work, but I believe it has potential. Either way, I love using it as a soothing dry skin moisturizer. 5 stars. Made in New Zealand.

Emollient rich and smells super nice
This Bump Balm in Pear Blossom by Edandi is everything I’d hoped it would be. I don’t know any pregnant people right now, but I am in process of losing quite a bit of weight and wanted this to help with stretch marks.The first thing I want to point out is that this balm has one of the cleanest formulations that I have seen around. It is mostly just loaded up with fantastic emollients like almond oil, argan oil, Shea butter, coconut oil and sunflower oil. What this product does Not have are parabens, phthalates, sulfates, silicones, acrylates, or PEGs. It does have added fragrance, but at least it is a really nice scent, like ripe pear, but subtle.The product is solid and there is a little spatula tool included to scoop some out. And “some” is really all you need of this product, once it melts between the hands it glides around and covers the skin beautifully. After using it my skin feels very soft and well hydrated which hopefully will help improve elasticity and prevent stretch marks.I feel very lucky to have found this wonderfully moisturizing balm, it’s a pleasure to use and it feels like the effort is going to be worth it. Currently this bump balm is selling for $39.99. Certainly there are cheaper bump balms out there, but I’ll bet not many with this nice of a recipe. Fantastic ingredients, no reactions, just soft feeling skin! TIME WILL TELL?
The hard part of reviewing the product like this is that you can never really tell whether it’s the product itself or other factors that caused a potential reduction and stretch marks. The ingredients in this are amazing and the product itself feels fantastic. I am told, but there’s really no way to know if it’s definitively caused the reduction of stretch marks, but one can assume that based off of how good it feels and how soft the skin is that it’s gonna do a good job. I’ll come back and edit the review in about seven months when we know more, but even that won’t be definitive fact, but I think that this is the right product to try out.

This product arrived well-packaged and undamaged to my house. It was beautifully packaged in a box that would be easy to wrap for gift-giving. The container itself is beautifully understated (not loud/garish). The product is creamy and rich; there’s a little scoop provided to remove the product, which keeps fingers from contaminating the product. And it feels so good going onto the skin; it does take a little time for the balm to melt, but that’s to be expected from a beeswax product. Love the natural ingredients and the very light pear blossom fragrance.At $40 (at time of review), this would be a splurge, but may be worth it for your pregnancy.

Great ingredients
This balm has great natural ingredients with the exception of fragrance. It absorbs surprisingly well and feels very moisturizing. Can’t say about how effective it is for stretch marks but based on the ingredients it seems like it should be effective and it’s an excellent moisturizer for dry skin.

I got this for my friend who had a baby a couple months ago. She said the blend of argan oil and shea butter leaves her skin feeling soft and nourished. She said it absorbs well and helps to minimize the appearance of her stretch marks. The scent is light and pleasant.
