Smells WONDERFUL
I love the fragrance, which is coconutty, but in a way that doesn’t smell like cheap tanning oil–can’t really describe it, but it smells deliciously _fancy_ to me. It’s pretty gentle on my sensitive skin and not at all drying. I wish the corresponding moisturizer weren’t so hideously expensive, because I’d love to buy that as well. Not sure why cleanser is less than $20, but moisturizer is close to $60.

I am a woman of a certain age (old), and I needed a new face wash. I wanted clean ingredients. This was recommended to me in a group of like-minded people.Let me start by saying this product smells delicious! If it weren’t a face wash, I might be tempted to give it a taste. The first time I used it I was impressed by how it didn’t strip my face. It doesn’t really lather, but it cleaned my skin nicely. My skin felt very soft, and I didn’t even need to use my after-wash moisturizer. It was very emollient and felt like I had already moisturized, so I went without. I was pretty impressed. If it could help me reduce the need for additional products, I could save a ton of money, and it was not that expensive to begin with.Unfortunately for me, my aging skin is still suffering from occasional adult acne and rosacea to go along with the wrinkles and creases that come with age. I don’t mind the wrinkles and creases so much; they proved I have experienced life. As much as I like this product, after several washes it aggravated the adult acne and clogged my pores. I may use it up, just not by using it every day. I really wish it had been the holy grail because it was such a pleasant experience to use and smelled great. If you don’t have acne or suffer from clogged pores, this might just be the product for you.

Should’ve trusted that one review! This is not an Eminence product. It’s some kind of cheaply perfumed coconut lotion. I tried a bit on my hand and the smell will not wash off… thankful it never made it to my face!
