something wrong with this product!
I’ve been buying and using Epicurean herbal cleanser for years. The color is always a light orange. This bottle’s color was a bright pinkish, and it burned my face when I 1st used it. I’d like to return it, but of course I opened it. Would love to hear from Amazon.

Cleans well but can be drying
This is marketed as a gentle cleanser that will leave the skin moisturized but that was not my experience. While it cleans well, it leaves my skin visibly dry and tight, meaning stripped of natural oils which I am not a fan of. I am a regular retinol user and was hoping to stick with an Epicuren cleanser, having previously been using their clarify cleanser before getting on retinol, but this is simply too drying while on retinol. I still love the Epicuren cxc vitamin c and their acidophilus cream and will continue to use those. For a cleanser I guess I’ll try Cerave or la roche-posay gentle cleansers next because I’ve used and liked other products by these brands.
