Overall Good protein powder. Chocolate Flavor not strong.
This protein powder blends well into a smoothie. Chocolate flavor is not really there even though the color is. I added in cocoa powder to give it the flavor boost.

I love this product!
This is great tasting, reasonably priced, multi-use, and has wonderful ingredients. I’m very glad it doesn’t have soy in it. I bought it originally because it was recommended for a GF recipe I wanted to make. I was buying breakfast protein drinks at the grocery store for about $6 for 20 oz or so and really enjoying them but that adds up in a hurry. Then I realized I had this bag of protein mix sitting around and mixed up one for breakfast on my way into work. WHOA! I suddenly had the energy to make it into work where I get a cup of coffee and a breakfast biscuit that I bring from home, rather than dragging into work with low blood sugar! This doesn’t add a whole lot of calories to my daily count but packs a delicious protein punch to the start of my morning. It takes a lot of shaking to mix properly so I’ve bought a little battery-operated immersion blender to make it quick and easy. One bag has lasted me 3 months; I’ll be ordering it again very soon.

TERRIBLE Taste
I wished I had paid attention to the return policy. The taste is terrible. I purchased the chocolate flavor and it tastes nothing like chocolate to me. I made a shake with almond milk. Could not even finish. I am not one to complain but this is almost 40.00 for something i am not going to be able to use. Nothing like other protein powders I have used in the past. Do not expect a chocolate flavor, only resemblance to chocolate is the color. The company apparently does not stand by it’s product since it doesn’t come with a satisfaction return policy.

The taste is great
I do not find us to be very chalky at all. It’s been working very good at mixing in smoothies, but also on its own. It gets a little clumpy, but not bad at all. I always choose the vanilla in. This has a nice pleasant taste.

There are pros to this protein. It mixes incredibly well, has a minimally grainy texture, and doesn’t become too thick in liquid. With all that being said, it tastes terrible. It has a very chemically vanilla like sweetness that can’t be hidden. It’s was tried in many applications and finally was used in pancake batter. That’s where the remainder of this will be used.

This is my favorite Pea Protein Powder. It has a yummy tasting with a smooth texture. It great on it’s own or as a base for smoothes. It is also great for recipes that call for protein powder.
