BUY IT! You will not be disappointed, high quality, best book on essential oils and purposes you’ll ever find. I have numerous books on oils I could toss them all and only have this one, uses, healing facts, up to date clinical facts, past discoveries, numerous facts on all oils, recipes, dog uses… it is endless in a glossy pages (great for oily hand lol) beautifully put together book. 5 stars does not do it justice. Every word is useful, none of that rambling…

This book is absolutely great! The hardcover edition is very nice quality! This book is organized so well and it doesn’t contain a bunch of fluff and filler. It has a great layout. A very detailed table of contents so you can quickly and easily find what you’re looking for! It even includes an index in the back!In this book, you will find some history on Essential Oils, you will learn to spot quality products, it will teach you how to safely use the oils, it will teach you the different uses for oils… many of which have multiple uses. It will tell you things like which oils are not safe to use while pregnant and which oils are not safe to use around your beloved pets. Some oils are toxic to dogs and cats! It tells you which oils are not safe for children and it tells you how to safely apply the ones that are.One of the things I love the most are the recipes! There are recipes for snacks like Apple Cinnamon Bread… Recipes for dinners like Orange Teriyaki Salmon… Recipes for side dishes and soups, desserts… And then there are recipes for things like cough syrup, burn salve, bug spray, household cleaner, laundry soap, shampoo, sunscreen, mouthwash, toothpaste and so much more!There is a vast amount of information all wrapped up in this one simple to use, easy to understand book!

Dr. Axe’s essential oil book is a must
This is a great guide for essential oils. It is easy to read, nicely designed and illustrated and scopes all aspects of essential oil medicine. It is also great for knowing essential oil history, general and specific for each oil. I have read in the past other essential oil books but this one is really outstanding. I knew Dr. Axe through his youtube videos and channel and find the information valuable and easily digestible, due not only to his knowledge but to his charisma. I also find the paper in which this book was printed of a nice quality. I would recommend it to anyone interested in essential oils, though I would recommend it to everyone really because of the valuable information it provides for healthcare and beauty. Knowing and using essential oils is not only one of the best medicines available but one of the greatest pleasures of life.

Amazing resource! It starts with introductions of the 3 authors, which was intriguing. I appreciate the history of EOs and guidance in finding reputable oils. The breakdown is great, everything is easy to follow and laid out well. I’m so glad that I got this book. The hard cover and spiral binding make it even better!

Great content! Pages could be on a better weight paper and the binding correctly sized.
The book contents are wonderful! Best guide and information for Essential Oils I have used.The book itself needs a slightly larger spiral ring as it does not allow the pages near the beginning and near the end to lay flat (it is overstuffed with great information). The pages are well printed in beautiful color, it would be better on heavier weight paper so it would last for years of regular use – I am very careful with turning the pages so they don’t rip. In shipping the front cover was slightly bent so it could have been packed better.

I LOVE this book! This book is wayyy better than I was expecting. It’s huge! I use this book constantly. Its packed with holistic remedies for all types of illnesses or health conditions. I appreciate the organization of the book and how detail it is. The book helps explain the differences and usages of all the essential oils. Best practices for them and recipes in the back.I also bought a book for my sister to help her understand essential oils. The book helps explain it soooo well. It can be overwhelming to know what does what, how many drops for this or that – oral, topical etc.. this book has you covered.I would highly recommend this for anyone who loves essential oils!

This is exactly the book I’ve been searching for. Most books on oils are filled with info on very few oils and then followed up with “recipes” This book however has it all! It covers so much. It gives history of oils, followed by uses for each one. It has DYI recipes for everyday uses plus food recipes. It also covers oils used for infants and your fur babies. Covers massage techniques plus reflexology. Book is 511 pages including index. Well worth the money
