Nice serum, with some unexpected notes
I’ve been using this for over a year now. I like how it feels and the price is great, and I really wish it were available on the Subscribe & Save program. (ETA it is now!)The texture is a little thicker than the C+ serum and less gel-like than the Peptide Complex or Niacinamide serums from the same brand, not watery like an essence or glidey like an oil. It’s opaque and doesn’t slip and drip around quite as readily as more liquidy serums, so application is a bit more controlled. It can be sticky if over-applied, but you really don’t need much and when used sparingly, it dries quickly with no sheen or stickiness. I like to use 3-6 tiny dots all over my face (smaller even than the drops in my photo), and pat it in with my fingertips. At that rate a bottle lasts me 4 months or so with daily use. It seems to play nicely with my makeup, but I don’t wear much of that either; with more layers to contend with, it might get goopier, but I can’t really say.The smell is a little like vitamin C tablets, with no peppery note that I can detect. The color is a surprisingly bright pumpkiny orange (see update note below, the color is not always this bright!), but it smooths in as you apply and doesn’t leave a tint, even on very fair skin; I haven’t seen any staining or transfer, but again, I use a pretty light hand.UPDATE: I’ve been using this serum for a little over a year and I’ve gone through two bottles that I bought on Amazon, and started a third that I ordered directly from the manufacturer’s website. The latter was stored in my refrigerator for a month or two prior to being opened. The new bottle contains a product with a very different color than the two before it. It’s a pale, lighter-than-creamsicle orange that surprised me after the pumpkiny color of my first two Amazon bottles. I’ve included a photo of the products side by side on the back of my hand; dark orange is from Amazon, pale orange is directly from the Eva Naturals website. The Amazon bottle had been opened for a few months at this point, but it was the same dark orange from day one.The new bottle (light colored serum) is dated to expire a year from the time the photo was taken. The old bottle (dark colored serum) does not have a noticeable expiration date on the label at all.I don’t know if they are a different formulation, if the Amazon bottles had oxidized or expired before they got to me, or if refrigeration affected the color in some way, but it’s definitely worth noting. Although I got it cheaper here and didn’t notice any ill effects from the darker orange formulation, I wish I knew for sure what caused the difference. I’ll probably be ordering from Amazon again, but if the serum is dark or undated, I’ll use the company website instead.

My favorite serum of all time!
This is hands down my go to serum and one of few that has been a frequent repurchase. It is much more of a creamy formula and is very orange which stands out from other formulas, but I personally appreciate the texture because it’s very spreadable and doesn’t pill or get uncomfortable under makeup- it absorbs quite well and wears comfortable. Which ingredients will work for you is definitely dependent on your individual concerns but I’m consistenly impressed with this combination of actives. I am brown skinned and struggle with PIH and discoloration. Now that my acne is under control it’s more of the latter and I find this serum is the best concoction I’ve used for those concerns. This is one of few products I’ve tried that gives me both long term and overnight results (of course, it won’t just erase issues in a snap but it is very satisfying to see quick results). I would recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable product that is effective and contains actives that have a strong reputation for addressing skin issues many of us deal with such as acne, dryness and pigmentation. This is one of my favorite skincare products and I am so glad it was recommended to me on Amazon. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable serum!

Apenas abri el frasquito me encuentro con con una sustancia de color ocre, de tacto crwmositocy con un olor que al principio me pareció feo pero luego me hizo recordar a semillas tostadas.No pensaba aplicarlo en la cara por miedo pero al final me anime y no me arrepiento, se absorbe super rápido,deja sensación fresquita e hidrata mucho además de dejar la piel muy luminosa. La primera aplicacion la hice por la noche, por si acaso, y al levantarme mi piel estaba super hidratada y sin exagerar, mas lisa, ahora con las de 15 días utilizándolo puedo decir que me ha borrado las marquitas de expresión, sobre todo del entrecejo.Me gjsta mucho, lo volveré a comprar.

I’ve been using this product for a while now and must say it’s done wonders for my skin, particularly when used after washing my face in the morning. My skin feels healthier, looks brighter, and has this lovely glow to it. The texture is a bit thick, but once applied, it absorbs rather quickly without leaving any greasy residue.However, the smell isn’t all that pleasant—it’s a bit earthy, but thankfully it doesn’t linger. The product is quite effective under my moisturizer, especially during the drier winter months. One disappointment though, is the size of the bottle, which is smaller than expected. Make sure to handle the packaging carefully as it can sometimes come damaged.Overall, the serum is a solid addition to my skincare routine, and it works well for sensitive skin without causing irritation. I’ve already ordered it again despite these minor drawbacks.
