Our Founder
Brenda Brock, hails from a 7th generation farming family. She has taken traditional herbal recipes from “kitchen chemistry” to modern small-batch cosmetic manufacturing.

I loved them so much I went searching for more products
My sister gave me some Farmaesthetics for my birthday. I loved them so much I went searching for more products. I have always been in search for a good natural face cleaner and this one is great. It foams but not a lot. My face feels clean and skin feels tighter without the feeling of soap residue. I have even used it all over my body, but not often. Price is better than the Farmaesthetics site, especially with prime.

Light facial cleanser with a hint of lavender scent
I’ve been using this product for over 10 years. Its light and I usually use it when showering after a workout or when I wake up in the morning. I use so very little of it each time, and before I wash my face with it, I put my nose in my hands and breath in deeply. The lavender scent is not overwhelming but just the right amount to calm you. I can’t comment if it removes make up because I’ve never used it for that purpose. Just an all around light facial cleanser and I love it.

Great facial wash, gentle with great ingredients
I like this facial cleanser a lot. I use it as an aftershave for my face because of the witch hazel. Works really well and I feel comfortable with what I’m using because of the natural ingredients. Great product, I very highly recommend. I also follow up by using the lavender milk as a face lotion.

Watery
I love all things Farmaesthetics!! But this is just awful…smell is good, does lather, but so watery even after shaking that I can’t even hold one pump in my hand…it runs down the sides of my hand, and most is lost in the shower and on down the drain. Did I get a bum bottle? Maybe a return that someone had watered down? Oh Farmaesthetics, I’m so sorry to have to leave you one star 😢

Excellent.
I have used high end expensive facial cleaners my entire life. Many different Clean, tone, and moisturizers. The older I get the more natural I want to be. This product is great. Not only does it clean well but I can feel it tightening immediately and my skin looks amazing. I’ve used the clay mask for almost a year now so I’m branching out and trying the other products. I do not plan to switch anymore. I’ve found my product.

Great Everyday Facial Cleanser!
Best natural facial cleanser! I have tried several expensive brands and this helps keep my skin the clearest. I have very sensitive skin, so natural is very important. A lot of other cleansers say they’re natural but they have something else in them. I also enjoy the smell and the squirt top is very convenient as a lot of these glass bottles don’t include them.

Worth the money
I had been searching for a product that was natural, gentle and not tested on animals. I had tried a bunch of products but unfortunately they would always flare up my rosacea. I was suggested to try Farmaesthetics and fell in love with it. I have been using it for a while now and my rosacea has not flared up once since I starting using products from this company. I also use the Nourishing Lavender Milk. The cleanser doesn’t foam up but you get use to it. If one really wanted it to foam you could transfer it to a one of those pumps that makes it foam. While it is a bit on the expensive side I believe it is worth every penny. I have also gotten complements on my skin since using Farmaesthetics.

Transition period or ineffective product?
I have an oily t-zone, get acne every so often, and have large pores on my nose and chin. I’ve been using this cleanser for a couple weeks now and I’m not really sure if I’m happy with it. When I first started using it, it really dried out my face. I used the Farmaesthetics Cool Aloe Mist right after, which helped a little, but my face was so dry it hurt to smile. I then tried using my favorite facial moisturizer (Belli brand) on the spots that were very dry and that seemed to make some of the pain go away. After continued use, I noticed the pores on my nose and chin getting bigger and the cleanser doesn’t remove any of the gunk I see in them. I also noticed my face scarred more easily from acne. The dryness has still persisted as well, so I put a generous amount of moisturizer on afterwards now. I’ve been dealing with more acne too, but most of it seems to be healing (for now). I do get little bumps above my lip, around my nose, and on my cheeks too, but that may be because I have to use much more moisturizer now. Before beginning Farmaesthetics, I was using the Equate 3-Step Acne System with benzoyl peroxide, so I figured I may have to go through a transition period after stopping the use of all those chemicals. I’m just not sure I like how dry the cleanser makes my face, how long it takes my acne to heal, the increase in pore size, and the price. One more thing to add, it isn’t excellent at taking off my eye makeup. It gets a lot off, but not all of it. I really want to like this cleanser because of its natural ingredients, so I’m not giving up yet. I will continue to use this product until the bottle is empty and hopefully I will see some improvement in my skin, but until then, I give the product 3 stars. I will update in the future if things get better or worse.The cleanser smells nice, lathers up adequately, removes surface oil on face, and is in a beautiful bottle… hence, the 3 stars.
