I absolutely love these protein shakes. I find it much more creamy if you use coconut or almond milk. I haven’t tried it with regular milk. There isn’t that strong aftertaste as many pea protein shakes have. To me this pea protein taste is very subtle, I bought bough vanilla and chocolate and I love both. It’s blends pretty easy, but you gotta shake it well in a protein shaker bottle. I don’t get clumps if I shake well. I was a little concerned as it had some fermented ingredients this can make my intestines act out but I risked it and tried it anyway and my GI seem to be doing okay with this powder. Overall I love how rich the flavor is. I’m definitely pleased with this product. And best of all the price is right.

Good Flavor
I bought this to add more plant based protein to my diet and use just with water for a snack if hungry so I don’t eat something bad for me. The flavor is pleasant, and blends well with a fork in a glass (or I use a Nutribullet) as it’s nice it has Oatmilk in it already. It’s packed with plant protein, organic and a good price I think for the volume you get. The one thing I didn’t see is it contains Erithrytol (sp?) which is an artificial sweetener, and is said to be harmful to those with Diabetes. I don’t have Diabetes but if I did, I’d be disappointed I could not use the product because it is a good one. Stevia is not great either if highly processed but safer. It does have some Stevia in it to.Anyway I’d try it if adding more plant based protein is a goal of yours for health and to use if you want to replace a meal with it. It’s great as a snack too.

I knew this brand via supplements so this was my first time trying their protein powder. I was searching for a different protein powder for smoothies and really enjoyed it. It has great taste and texture. I like the probiotics and probiotics added benefits as well. I did not experience chalkiness because my Vitamix still works well. (I also used the pulverizer after scraping the powder off the side and blending it again on 10) I found this as a cheaper alternative to OWYN’s chocolate plant-based protein powder. This and OWYN will be my go to protein powders for smoothies at home. Great job Garden of Life! I look forward to making smoothies for lunch at least 2-3 times a week now.

My favorite protein! I searched for years for a protein powder that was clean, non chalky, didn’t cause stomach issues, mixed well, and actually tasted good. This one was a bonus in that it’s made with oatmilk. Love it!

Does not taste great
I am not one to write reviews, but as someone who is desperately trying to find a plant-based protein that tastes good, I thought a review might help someone else.I will say, this protein has, by far, the best texture of the plant-based proteins I’ve tried so far. It mixes well, is creamy and not very gritty like others. However, this does not taste like brownie. It doesn’t even taste like chocolate. I can’t even decide what it tastes like but it doesn’t taste good. I could let it slide that it doesn’t taste like chocolate brownie if the flavor was at least pleasant. I even tried adding chocolate syrup just out of curiosity and even that didn’t help.So now, I will continue my seemingly fruitless search for a plant based protein that tastes good while also being affordable. It makes me sad that I’ve become lactose intolerant. I miss my whey protein.

Tastes good but….
Love the taste but this gives me really bad gas and bloating. Between the fermenting and the pre/probiotics, the effect is just not doable. Maybe some can digest it well but I have used it for 5 days and I’m so uncomfortable every day that I have to give it away. Will not be buying again.
