This line of powders has helped me sink h. Between this and the protein, I feel so much better. When I work out I notice I feel and loo better. My skin appreciates it. I have more energy. And I just feel good after drinking it. The protein really has Ana amazing profile. And this meal has such a great selection of b vitamins (from niacin to b12-it really helps ya get ready for the day in morning). Also it’s a nice way to get vegetables in ya if you’re it great an ivy it like I am. The thickness is perfect – I mix two scoops of this with one scoop of protein and it’s perfect in a 16 oz cup with water. You can use other than water, but it really is it needed. It sugary taste at all- not gritty. Smooth and tastes like an eat drinking vanilla shake (again not sweet or sugary- but it is pleasant-I’ve been drinking it forever so maybe I liken it more than most). Occasionally I will add a scoop of another product Imthat is strawberry and that has much more flavor and between the two makes it taste amazing!I will say this has also helped me with my GI issues (never had any u til I turned 36 and slowly I started having g a GI bleed et )— well we thjj in k we found train, but we do know that bad protein / meal powders can be terrible for the GI tract. This is much better than what I was using. For the pride and quality, I am sold. I know there sre more expensive ones out th re, but this does the job for me. I feel better with it!Update—. Amazon has had some issues with delivery -very frustrating – and I went without this for ten days. It as amazing how my energy levels dropped, irritability up, trouble sleeping etc. I am now thinking a multivitamin just in case it’s delayed again!!

Tastes fine when mixed with good juice.
Ok so, I saw this and checked out the ingredients. I wasn’t really looking for a plant protein. But after seeing what this is, and how healthy it seems to be, I figured I should give it a try.Now, at first I tried to add it to my morning chocolate breakfast ‘shake’ (basically Carnation instant breakfast & some multi collagen powder). That did not work out well. I only used about 1/2 a scoop. But, the flavor is for sure noticeable. Drinkable, but, not very good with chocolate.I then figured, hey, this is veggies and fruits (and nuts and etc.), so, why not add it to a veggie/fruit drink. I then tried a half scoop mixed with about 8 oz of R.W. Knudsen Juice (I use either the organic orange carrot blend, or the super antioxident blend. Now the taste is good to me. Sure, the juice tastes better without it. And is slightly chalky in the last few sips. But overall, very drinkable and kind of enjoyable.I mix this in a cup I recently bought on Amazon (PROMiXX Original Shaker Bottle). It is a mixer bottle (not a blender). I turn it on with the juice already in it, and then slowly add the powder. No clumps, perfectly mixed. I just got this cup a few weeks ago and really love it for all powdered drink mixes. I suggest checking it out!So, I give 5 stars, although the taste isn’t the best. Even though I just use a half scoop a day, I feel that I am getting some very healthy ingredients with lots of great nutrients, every day. And it will last me twice as long 🙂

Ingredients are stellar, flavor is palatable, blends well with fruit and soymilk.
After much deliberation and sampling of different competing brands, I chose Garden of Life because the flavor was most natural & palatable, the ingredients are organic and vegan, and the company responded to my inquiries quickly and were very friendly on the phone.I use the “un-flavored” mix as a dietary/protein supplement and meal replacement. I drink it 1x/day. I am a (mostly) vegan runner. This mix doesn’t upset my stomach, helps me feel full, improves my energy.GoL does use stevia to sweeten their mix, and even “unflavored” has vanilla flavor, BUT the sweetness is greatly reduced vs. the “vanilla” variety, and you can hardly taste the vanilla flavoring in the unflavored variety. If sweetness is an issue for you (as it was for me), the unflavored GoL Raw Meal was the least sweet I could find in this type of drink.Yes, the mix has a bit of grit to it. But I don’t think anyone’s going into this believing they’re having a Carnation Instant Breakfast, so, the fact that it tastes like a green smoothie (which it IS!) shouldn’t be an issue. I find that blending really well with fruit, soymilk, and ice, tempers any grittiness.I have not had any issue with separation or uber-thickening as others have indicated. I do drink it within 10-15 minutes of preparation, and I use a straw.The recipe I use is one level scoop of unflavored Raw Meal, one half banana or other fruit, 8oz of unsweetened eden soymilk, and 8 oz of ice.

Does not dissolve well in milk
I opened this product and attempted to mix one measured capful in milk. I purposely stirred it for quite some time but the product did not dissolve well. It caked up on the side of the thermal container as well as on top of the glass of milk.My wife attempted to drink it but it caused her to cough for several minutes. She also mentioned that it was too sweet as well.I guess we are out $22. since they do not accept refunds.

Pleasantly Surprised by the Quality
So far I have enjoyed this protein powder very much. Gluten-free, which is a win for me. The flavor is tasty, not too sweet, yet delightful. I appreciate how easily it digests, without causing any discomfort. The addition of probiotics is a great bonus. Also, it’s a complete plant-based protein, love that for the environment. If there was one thing I could change, it would be the texture. It could be a tad smoother. All in all, a great product!
