Excellent product, Try to take it separately from Minerals!
Pro: They recommend taking 4 of these daily, but I prefer taking two at a time, usually several hours after taking Magnesium Citrate, Zinc, and Vitamin D3. :You can take it with food or without food and they are fairly easy to swallow in the capsule form. It’s also easy to separate the capsules if you prefer to add the powder into apple juice or yogurt. There isn’t much taste to it at all so sometimes I do that when I don’t feel like swallowing them.Con: None for me, but be aware that some supplements do not work as well with minerals. It’s better absorbed if you separate them to get the full benefit of both. Check with your nutritionist and/or doctor if you are taking medications to ensure they won’t interact negatively. I eat lots of healthy food, nuts, veggies and fruits in my diet so these are just an added benefit in my daily nutrition.

I highly recommend Garden of Life Vitamin Code for women over 50. I felt better after taking it in the morning and evening. I have tried more daily vitamin brands–natural and drug store brands– than I can count with no positive effect at all except bloating and upset stomach. My last brand had been the women’s Garden of Life daily vitamin I bought at Trader Joe’s, so I thought I’d try this related raw food brand.Our digestion, energy, and mental clarity turn out to be directly connected to what we eat and when we eat as any personal experimentation will show. I had already been experimenting with various simple drink and diet changes to find what made me feel better and less inclined towards binge or emotional eating. I had researched which vitamins and minerals absorbed similarly. And I was careful to try this formula on a day when my diet included some sweets later at night.With this formula, I woke up clear-headed and energized with no upset stomach the next day! I am not allergic to anything…well so I thought until I tried this product. I had it as recommended, two tablets twice daily and by day 2, my skin started to get a prickly sensation. At first I thought it was just dry skin…but no amount of moisturizer took the sensation away. I stopped the Vitamins and within a day the symptoms cleared. I gave a gap of a week before trying them again, just to make sure before I wrote this review…and wow! same thing again! Couldn’t sleep all of last night as my skin was and still is feeling nettled. Oddly no hives and red spots…just a sharp prickling sensation under the skin in random areas like eyebrows, face, stomach, back…etc.. Super uncomfortable and sure have wasted my money on this. Didn’t expect a Vitamin to behave so strangely!
