Nice hair dye
I have tried a few different hair dyes, and this one is okay for the price. You really don’t have to do much other than actually putting it on your scalp. I applied it in the shower (without turning on the water), and it looked like it worked. I did notice some degradation in the color around 2 weeks in.Overall, I would recommend it if you want a quick procedure.

Product Does Not Cover Grey Hair
The color this product provides is wonderful. However, it does not cover grey hair at all. The directions indicate that one is to leave the shampoo in for as long as 40 minutes. Given that, it’s easier to just use actual hair color that does cover the grey.

Not what I expected but turned out to be great for my use
Hair dye shampoo is something that I’d seen and been interested in trying for a while now. What I expected it would be is that you use this once a week or so instead of my regular shampoo and it would keep the hair dye color going strong and lengthening the amount of time between doing a full dye job. From my use, in practice this hair dye shampoo is not like that at all haha. But even still I am maybe happier with how it has turned out.OK long story short, as stated above I assumed hair dye shampoo was just used in place of shampoo every so often to keep the color going strong. It turns out that this does not at all work like that, the application is pretty much like using hair dye, you apply it and let it set then rinse it out. This has led to me using this as a root touch up dye, as I can get 4 or 5 applications out of one bottle amd this is mich cheaper alternative to just using dye as needed. This did not come with gloves so I use my own plastic gloves and an applicator. I’m very happy with the result! The color blends well as it’s not so stark as a dye, and the color itself is a nice brown. The best benefit to this new method I am doing is that the ends of my hair no longer take on a dark inky color that usually occurs when it has been fully dyed 3-4 or so times.So for my use, which I feel like many others would like if they understood the product, this is an excellent product. It is cost effective and the color looks nice without being too much, or too harsh. I would just suggest getting to know what the product is exactly before going into using it based on what you think it is (like I did). Really cool product, works well, and a good price.

Not so good
This shampoo covered my grey hair pretty good, but you need to keep using it each time you wash your hair. If you don’t, then the color starts to fade. I went back to using my regular hair dye. My hair looks much better.
