I enjoy using the plant based shampoo dye, it’s easy to use. I shake the bottle, put on gloves (a pair is included) and apply to dry hair. The scent is pleasant, the formula doesn’t burn, and my grays are dark again. The color comes off easily from the skin.

My hair is naturally a dark brown with maroon undertones. I`ve tried everything to get this kind of red color and nothing has had this kind of color deposit for me. I use it like a dye. Dry hair, pump into mixing bowl, brush it on the hair, leave it in for 45, rinse, or wash/condition and rinse. This does change my hair texture slightly… it`s a bit dryer which is why I want from just rinsing it after to wash/condition and rinse after.

Nope! Permanent and undesired lightening and Wrong Color
-500 stars. I ordered Dark Brown. I believe that speaks for itself with no room for interpretation like some colors, “Chestnut”, “Caramel”…colors you might wonder if they mean the same to you as the company. Dark Brown. My hair is, well was, dark brown, and I was looking for temporary grey coverage. This product has permanently altered my waist length hair to a copper penny color. It has not washed out after approximately 20 washes, except for my grey hairs which are as white as can be. This is not a temporary color. This does not cover grey. This has some sort of lightening ability and is a permanent change. AND it’s not even a permanent change to the color bought, which was Dark Brown, not Copper Penny.

Overall love the color. Dried my hair out really badly,and no cap or gloves included in kit as described. Doesn’t smell bad like hair dye which is another plus. Bottle leaked a little bit in the box so was messy getting it out.

Mixed Dk Coffee with black 1:1
So far the color looks great! Been about a week now and it hasn’t faded. I have dark hair and always have an issue with the color being dark enough on the grays. I took the advice of someone’s comment and used one pump of black and one pump of dark coffee and mixed together before applying to hair. Next time I may try one pump black to 2 pumps dkCoffee to see if it matters any. It’s great to be able to experiment! My hair felt a bit course right after I rinsed it out but I used half a pack of hair mask and it was fine. Now it’s shiny and looks great! I did have about an inch of gray and faded brown from the other dye I had used before I used this product. I just forgot to take a pic prior to applying this product.
