Not strong smelling, seems to be of good quality
This is my first castor oil purchase, and I made sure to purchase what I thought would be of great quality and value. It says “organic” and so I hope it truly is. The oil has a slight smell to it (not rancid, just a ‘normal’ oil smell). It’s very thick, and a little goes a long way. I’ve been using it on the tops of my hands to try it out after my dermatologist used the cryogenic freeze thingy to remove something on my skin. It’s healing nicely, so I’m happy with this oil.It is thick, but what I do is put the oil on my skin, and then I rub some regular hand lotion overtop. I like the smell of my own hand lotion overtop, and I do believe it sort of helps to either seal in or disapate some of the oil left on my skin. I look forward to using it for other skin/hair treatments.

Good Quality, But a Bit Too Thick
The oil is pure and works well for moisturizing and hair care, but it’s thicker than I expected. I prefer something a little lighter for easier application, especially on my scalp and brows. Still, it feels nourishing and absorbs nicely once it’s worked in. Great value for the size and quality.

This is the good stuff. Very thick and hard to apply by itself. So I mixed it with my Amazon Solimo Extra Dry Skin Lotion and it works so well. I love it.I read up online about the uses for Castor Oil and was so impressed with this wonder treatment, I just had to get some. I grew up in Jamaica and my mom used Castor oil in hair and our skin instead of lotion after shower. Also gave us spoonful a couple times a month.I have skin tags and will be using it CONSISTENTLY to see if it works as they say.
