DO IT LIKE GRANDMA DID: Tallow–or rendered beef fat–is ancestral skincare. Our ancestors relied almost solely on animal fats to moisturize, protect, and heal their skin. Enjoy our light, meltable, whipped tallow balm as a contemporary nod to the practice of our forefathers.
VITAMIN POWERHOUSE: Tallow is rich in vitamins A,D,E,K and B1 as well as stearic and oleic fatty acids and saturated fat. This yields a balm that is nourishing to your skin, but also highly shelf stable! (Variations in texture are common, due to these unadulterated ingredients).
SOURCING: We source our tallow from small farmers who practice regenerative agriculture. This means that they rotationally graze their cows all year long, never feeding anything other than grass. These healthy, happy cows create a beautiful, golden yellow fat that contains high levels of vitamins and minerals. Our top tallow supplier is Polyface Farm in Virginia. We slow-render every batch on our homestead.
MILD, CLEAN AROMA: Some tallow balms out there stink like the dickens. We are proud to offer a tallow that smells only lightly buttery upon opening–not beefy or off-putting. Enjoy clean, natural skincare without smelling like a steak (if that’s not what you were looking for…).

Great whipped texture with good results and no odd tallow smell
I must say that discovering natural tallow for my face has been a game changer for me. I’m not one to rate high easily on body products, but there’s something to this hand whipped skin cream that makes it so great for its texture since it’s a rich base. This is perfect for my dry-ish sensitive thinner skin type. It literally has no beefy smell at all and despite being whipped, the product is packed to full quantity in a high quality glass container, and you barely need a little bit for each use. I’ve been using it for a month now, and my skin is softer, always hydrated and my old acne scars just are fading each day ! No irritation even if it touches the eye. I’ve tried one other brand so far but this brand stands out for its quality overall. I will be trying the herb infused one next !

Simply Amazing!
It is unbelievable how amazing this cream makes my skin feel. It also smells like a Saturday morning with freshly brewed coffee and homemade scones. Not sweet at all , but a lovely soft coffee scent highlighted by a touch of vanilla.A little history. I purchased this cream to appease my husband. He’s on this all natural, avoid all synthetic ingredients, kick and told me about how dangerous the scents and chemicals used to make women’s skincare products can be, up to and including cancer. He asked me to try a tallow based skincare so I did some research and came upon this product.My skin feels incredibly dewy and supple all day long. When they say a little goes a long way, they mean it. But damn, it feels so good going on it’s hard to not add just a bit more than you really need. I’ve not experienced a better or more effective moisturizer to-date and I’ve tried facial products ranging in price from $30-$300. The $30 ones left my skin feeling under moisturized and greasy looking at the same time and the $300 ones, while they smelled amazing and felt really nice and silky on my face, they also contained a lot of the ingredients that have been attributable to causing cancer.Fast forward to a month or so of using this product and I ask my husband to try it for some eczema and other dryness he’s been experiencing on his face. Boom – 2 days later he’s sold and wants a jar of his own. He’s been using it daily and he looks younger and better than he has in years (he’s 57). I haven’t received any comments or compliments on my skin since using this wonderful tallow cream, but I don’t think it’s considered polite to comment on a 58 yr old woman’s skin so I’m not surprised. However, based upon how my husband’s skin looks, and how wonderful my skin feels, I have to believe my skin looks better, too.This is probably the best product to help your skin return to its natural healthy state. I cannot recommend it enough. I bought a jar for my 30 yr old niece and she loves it too! How can the same product work well for a 30 yr old and a 58 yr old? Maybe it’s because this product is actually made from ingredients our skin recognizes? If you’re thinking about trying a tallow based skincare cream, this is it! I’m in love.

Please show me how I can invest in your company!!! I had never heard the term “Beef tallow” in my life until I typed the words ” whipped face cream” into the search bar, and your product popped up! Thankfully, it was you and not other ceazy stuff that could’ve popped up with that search, lol. Anyways, after i read the reviews, I was ready to give it a try. I received my order very fast! I opened it right up and was very eager to try it! I remembered reading several reviewers saying “a little truly does go a long way”, so I just barely dipped the tip of my finger over the top of that fluffy surface and swiped it onto my face to feel how greasy it was…and wow! I was expecting either my finger to slip fast=too greasy, or to feel nothing, since I didn’t swipe my finger too heavily into the product. But, what I felt was almost as if I swiped a piece of silk or satin across my face. I had to do it again to make sure of what I just felt. This cream, is the smoothest, non-greasy, most-replenishing, natural product that you can use on your skin AND beyond! So, after I saw what miracles were just performed on my face, which as a side-note, I used both hands to gently, but deeply massage my face with this stuff…because the cream naturally warms up, from your own body temperature and it heals deeply as you massage with it. I was so excited that I began to rub it slowly and deeply into my arms, my elbows, my legs, my knees, my lower back, to my feet. Everywhere! I have severe dry skin, especially on my lower legs. After massaging my legs with this rejuvenating cream, there was absolutely NO dry skin and my skin was PERFECTLY hydrated. A true miracle product! I’ve suffered with severe back, neck, knee and joint pain for my entire life. These days lately, the arthritis that I have throughout my body is debilitating. While I was rubbing these areas, I could feel that beautiful, natural heat building and a HUGE pain relief. This is huge! You are HUGE! Once people use this as a muscle rub, they won’t use any of that other stuff anymore!!! I am walking proof! Since I’ve used your product, the pain from my arthritis and my many other back and neck problems is way more manageable. I can rebound faster after laying in bed all night to an upright person who can get around in the morning. I have been using it twice a day so far and I’ve never felt happier and full of hope for pain relief! By the way, after of all of those applications to myself, entire body rubs…I still have almost have a jar left. “A little Truly does go a long way”. Before I wrote this review, I reordered more and subscribed to receive one jar, every two weeks. Delightful Balm
I absolutely love this stuff. It smells good, it feels good. The whipped texture makes it feel nice and light. It absorbs pretty well, so I don’t feel greasy after I apply it. You don’t need a lot. It goes a long way, so it lasts a good, long time. The 1.3 ounce lasted me over six months. I get the Vanilla Orange scent. If you’re on the fence, give it a try!
