Wonderful Book
This is a wonderful book for planning, planting and using herbs. I had used my original copy for years with great results. Loaned it out, and never saw it again! Clearly a well liked book! Had to replace it…this copy is brand new, no marks, the binding is perfect and delivery was quick as expected. So glad to have my own copy again!

A very descriptive book on all kinds of herbs and each page includes a side-bar box with recipes to make with your herbal plants. It has colorized drawings and comes with cautions for some herbs, which I really like since I’m still learning about herbs. There are first aid gardens, Tummy care, Women’s care and many other specialized herbal tea gardens you can grow. Ms. Marcin tells exactly which herbal plants to use for each garden you might want to create. This book is a keeper for my herb book collection.

Great little garden design ideas
This book has garden plants and plant lists that can be copied or used as a base for making up your own gardens. The information on tea herbs and how to make teas and use herbs in tea at the beginning of the book is worth buying it even if there were not great garden plans it it also!

Great resource
This book is actually easier to use than the internet for finding good, quick information about certain plants. It has a lot of interesting information and has given me further ideas for growing tea. I turn to it a few times a week with questions about growing, and it has a good handful of tasty herbal blend recipes.

If you love herbs, then you will enjoy this book, especially at this time of year (when gardeners like me are imagining when the snow will disappear, the ground thaws, and we can get to work in our gardens again). Although there is certainly significantly more to the book than this, my rating for the book is directly related to the tea garden plans included that I can use ‘as is’ or as the jumping off point to refine and create new herb gardens. Since purchasing it about two years ago, I find myself returning to this book regularly for reference and planning purposes; I recommend it.
