At first I was disappointed because it seemed the recommended dose did nothing. I decided to up the dose to 4 and it’s ok.

Was unsure what to expect with HMB and a week after using it, I am still unsure. Everyone reacts differently to supplements so perhaps I am just not deficient here or it’s already covered in other things in my stack. Not sure. On the plus side, I find Micro ingredient supplements to be generally of good quality and a good value and have used them several times in the past. These are in capsules with coconut oil and the bag and pill smell like it and taste like it. It’s not unpleasant to me but I know others that have issues with it. Serving size is 3 capsules but they are easy to swallow so that is not an issue. Research HMB and if interested in the benefits, give this a try.

These are large softgels but extremely well made so that they do not leak and they are extremely easy to swallow. The coconut oil adds a pleasant fragrance and is also good for health. It is formulated in a way that is excellent for health benefits and I feel very confident about taking it. Also, it appears to help my muscles feel good after long walks and other exercise. It does not upset my stomach and appears to be extremely beneficial.

Great HMB supplement
Ok, I take a lot of supplements and I take several from Micro Ingredients. I’ve been happy with almost all of their supplements and this one is really no different. These HMB pills, oddly, have a great flavor (they smell like coconut and have a mild coconut flavor) and are super easy to use/swallow considering they’re huge. I believe they’re a high quality HMB supplement and I take this along with creatine (to assist in muscle growth) so these help with muscle recovery and retention.I haven’t personally noticed any energy boosts using it but since I take lots of supplements through the day, I try and time it so they all work synergistically with each other, so I always feel really good and I haven’t noticed any bad side effects. I’ve been taking these a little over a month now and I’ve been happy with my strength and muscle gains/recovery. Good supplement and I do recommend!

I was looking for something that could help maintain those benefits without being overly intense, and so far, this has been a solid substitute.Even though I’m just getting started, I’ve already noticed a difference mainly in how I recover after movement and how steady my energy feels throughout the day. It’s subtle, but it feels like it’s working in the background to support my body in a gentle but effective way.One thing I’ll mention for anyone who’s picky about pills: the capsules are on the larger side, but they go down surprisingly easily. I usually don’t like big pills, but I haven’t had any trouble with weird aftertaste, or lingering feeling in my throat.Overall, I’m pleased with how this has been holding me over post-prescription, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it continues to support me over time.

I have been taking HMB supplements for over six months now as part of a new diet and exercise routine I started around the beginning of the year. I needed to reorder, because I was running low, and I saw this Microingredients brand that looked intriguing. What caught my attention was the soft gel pill form and the inclusion of coconut oil.I had been taking a powder, which was a little messy and inconvenient to use, so I wondered how I would like this pill form that didn’t require any mixing or dissolving. To me, swallowing a pill is pretty quick and convenient, so there’s definitely an easy-to-use aspect to these. What kind of made me scratch my head a little, though, is that I’m used to taking a tiny one gram scoop of powder to get 1000mg of HMB, but with these pills, I have to take three rather large soft gels to get that amount. It could be the added coconut oil and thickness of the soft gel that make these a little bulkier than I imaged them to be. I’m not sure. It’s not that big of a deal, just something that caught my eye.There are different schools of thought as to when this kind of supplement might be taken to be most beneficial. For myself, I decided to use it twice per day. Since this appears to be the calcium salt form which doesn’t usually absorb as quickly as the free-acid form, I am trying to take it at least an hour before my workout. Then I usually take it again before bed to help with muscle recovery overnight. I might change that routine and adjust doses down the road after I see how well this does for me.So far, I have no real complaints about this product, and I think it’s a pretty reasonable value for a convenient resealable bag of 240 soft gels which could end up being an 80-day supply.

Easy to take a a great product for winter as 2 small in size tablets, that are easy to swallow, will give you 10,000 IU of D3 and K2 along with precursors needed to make it work! Well sealed in a zippered bag. Quality ingredients and rather clean. No bad after taste
