Very thankful for Similase!
Great product for assistance with a range of digestive issues. Similase was originally prescribed to me by a DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) for help digesting fats, dairy and other difficult to digest foods. I was thrilled to learn that I could get this product at Amazon for 25% less than at my doctor’s office. I take one or two depending on the size and content of the meal almost every day. I generally take them right before eating but have found that I can take them up to 30 minutes after eating if necessary. It was hard for me to find the “right” digestive enzyme, but after trying several, I feel that this is generally the best one (at least for me).Digestive enzymes are serious business. As I previously mentioned, I was prescribed this by a doctor with a medical degree and advanced training in nutrition. I would absolutely check with a doctor to make sure this type of product is safe for you before trying it if you have any concerns at all. If you try them, you might want to make sure that they will not interfere with the digestion and/or absorption of any medicines and/or supplements that you are already using. Also, people that have sensitive stomachs, ulcers, or similar conditions might not be able to handle this type of supplement. I would also want to rule out any potential medical conditions (such as Celiac’s or Crohn’s) that could be masked (or even worsened) by taking digestive enzymes. Better safe than sorry! Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with digestive issues such as cramping, bloating, or gas from eating dairy, gluten, and/or any other inflammatory foods that cause the body stress during digestion.

Miracle enzymes!
My appendix ruptured in 2009, and I’ve been having digestion issues ever since. I never had a problem before, but now when I eat really rich foods or drink wine or beer with a big dinner, my stomach blows up like a balloon and I’ll be plagued with indigestion, bloating and discomfort until the next day. I even saw a GI doctor about it and had an endoscopy done, but all it revealed was mild gastritis and no over the counter or prescription meds ever helped. That is until I found these. My friend had some and I took them when I became bloated after dinner, and I felt better within 20 minutes. I couldn’t believe it! I started taking them before every meal, and it prevented my digestion issues every time. They even seem to be helping me in a cumulative way, because I don’t have to take them all the time now. Now I only take them when I eat an especially rich meal or after something gives me a problem, and it helps right away. I would recommend these to anyone who suffers from indigestion and painful bloating, these were a miracle for me! I feel “cured,” all I needed was some enzymes all along, I wish my doctor could have figured this out years ago. Highly recommended. I will buy these forever.

Gut/brain connection helped with headaches.
A dear friend told me how much it helped her and she took 2 with every meal. Then I heard a program on the gut/brain connection. That made sense so thought it was worth giving it a try. So thankful I did. I’ve suffered with extremely bad headaches for over 60 years. Ever sense my head went through the windshield in a bad car accident. I take 2 pills before every meal. If I should forget and start getting a headache I’ll take it then and the headache goes away. Thank you friend and thank you Jesus. If course the added benefit of helping painful belly bloating. I’ve tried other digestive pills but did not have the success with them as I’ve had with these.I’ve recommended this to some of my friends who also suffer from headaches. Some of them are helped and some aren’t but I’m most thankful it’s helped me.
