Jack Black Does it Again
Jack Black always makes quality products with the biggest bang for the buck. I noticed a difference after a couple of weeks, and I shave my head so I have a lot of surface area to brighten.

Help with dry Skin
My face always feels a little dry after I wash it and this product was great for that.It helped my skin not be so dry and have a noticeable difference on how much healthier my skin looks. It did seem to lighten the spots on my face. With longer use, hopefully they will go completely away.

Jack Black Brightening Booster Vitamin C Serum, 1 oz.I am a long time user of Vitamin C Serum. I really like the Jack Black brand so I decided to try the Jack Black Brightening Booster Vitamin C Serum. Jack Black’s Vitamin C serum contains 10% THD-Ascorbate. THD ascorbate is lipid-soluble (it dissolves in oil or fat cells), and much more stable than ascorbic acid. That lipid formulation helps it penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin. Vitamin C works by helping your skin make collagen. Vitamin C can also help brighten skin and lighten dark spots.I really like the packaging because the bottle is a pump bottle. Vitamin C doesn’t do well in sunlight or exposure to air so the dark bottle and the pump keeps the Vitamin C fresh and therefore it is able to work better and longer.The serum feels creamy but not greasy. I like the formula and have enjoyed using it.⛵⚓Seas the Day⚓⛵

Expensive for what you get; gentle but potentially useless
I was researching the best options for serums with higher levels of THD Ascorbate and came across this serum marketed to men even though it of course works the same for any human…with skin. I just finished my first (and likely only) bottle—PROs:👍 Gentle (little to no sting) on sensitive, vascular rosacea skin. I managed to build up my barrier enough to use Dr. Brenner serum on my face, so I ended up using Jack Black on my more-sensitive neck and chest with no issues👍 Lasted about 4 months—though I didn’t use it twice a day as recommended, and I only used it on neck and chestCONs:👎 Can’t tell definitively if it helped with what it’s supposed to👎 Too expensive, especially if I can’t tell how much it’s pulling its weight👎 Doesn’t contain Ferulic Acid (it does have Vitamin E), so I bought The Ordinary’s vitamin F + resveratrol and would add 3-4 drops into the layer following Jack Black👎 My serum looked noticeably more oxidized/brownish than some of the other customer review images I’m seeing here—and I kept mine refrigeratedVERDICT:I’d probably buy again if it was half the price, but I’m more likely to buy another vitamin C serum gentle enough for my neck and chest for half the price

Unscented, easy to use
I didn’t realize that this was a product aimed at men but I used it anyways and really like it. When I first started using it though I had some redness and after after a couple days I had a few little tiny pimples, but they cleared quickly. That’s pretty typical for me with vitamin c. I continue to use it because I didn’t experience any peeling, which to me is a signal it’s too strong. This definitely had a brightening effect for me and while I can’t say that it got rid of any lines I certainly don’t seem to have gained any either.It’s kind of lotion like texture and no scent. It’s easy to use.

Very happy with this Vitamin-C cream from Jack Black. This cream is packed with excellent ingredients that target the signs of aging in the skin. This product contains vitamin C, a well-known antioxidant with many skin benefits, but also other ingredients that help skin repair damage from UV rays and sun exposure.This cream contains 10% THD-Ascorbate, which is a stable, gentle vitamin C ester that combats the signs of aging skin by fading pigmentation and age spots, softening and erasing fine lines, boosting hydration and improving cell turnover. This cream works gradually and with continued use. It’s important to use it daily or every other day. Also always wear sunscreen, as vitamin C can make you sensitive to the sun.Along with vitamin C, this cream contains green microalgae, which protects the skin from blue light; Black Myrobalan, a tropical tree bark used to treat and soothe eczema, rashes and acne; and Acetyl Zingerone, an antioxidant derived from Ginger that is an anti-inflammatory and heals skin after sun exposure. One website said: it reduces Dark DNA damage (dark CPD) hours after sun exposure.Overall, I’m very happy with this product and would recommend it. It absorbs quickly and is not sticky. It has little to know fragrance and did not aggravate my skin. But it is powerful. It softened lines around my eyes and brightened my complexion. Good stuff.
