Update: It’s been some time now and I’ve had this cleanser for a while. With the neverending Korean skincare which included limitless cleansers in my arsenal, this particular one has been in my luggage for my many travels. I used it solely when I’m away and could confirm to this day it has not caused any irritations/breakouts. It’s super gentle on my skin and despite the countless cleansers I have, this has made the list for reorder. As suspected previously, this product’s deserving of five stars and have increased it to reflect such.Original: I’ve only used it once thus far since receiving it but felt compelled to jump on here and give it a positive rating. I’m digging its gentle gel-like texture and even more glad that it didn’t produce a tight feeling to the skin post-wash. I was a bit surprised to read it’s an exfoliating wash but after gathering some information, I can understand it better now. Sometimes in a world of actives, it’s good to have a gentle and hydrating cleanser to start and/or end your day with. I’m even more thrilled I haven’t had any irritations and/or breakouts. Let’s just hope it deep cleans my pores. I will continue with further usage and update at a later time but at this juncture, it might as well be 5 stars. Did I mention the price point was on par?! Gotta love a good sale for a cleanser around $12!

Feels so luxurious! A little goes a LONG WAY
I have normal to dry skin, def way more dry in the winter months and I typically like to use oil based facial cleansers because I don’t like my skin to get too stripped of its oils. I discovered Kaine after doing a deep dive on the internet for clean, non-toxic Korean skincare and am so glad I took the risk! After trying this I have dedicated myself to this face cleanser as my second wash after my oil based cleanser. I LOVE the way this feels on my skin. The texture is jelly-like but glides onto my face like a luxurious facial at the spa. And all I need is a tiny pump because this things spreads and lathers like no other. It takes me several gentle wipes to get it all off. Afterwards, my face feels soft to the touch.I typically use this in the shower in the evenings and it is hands down the best part of my nighttime routine.The price is also jaw dropping. For someone who has spent $88 for a face wash before, I am thrilled to have this as an option now. I’ve even gifted these to all the women in my family.It’s like self-care in a beautiful frosted glass bottle that doesn’t break the bank.

Slippery magic
After trying so many cleansers that claim to hydrate this is finally one that fulfills its promise. Some cleansers clean well but leave your skin dry while others hydrate well but do not clean. This is the first cleanser I have found that both cleans and hydrates your skin. It even makes your complexion look brighter. Give this a try I think you will like it.

Luxurious but breaks me out
Love the jelly texture, kind of reminds me of kravebeauty’s matcha cleanser. Love the idea of a kombucha cleanser and I wanted to love this so bad but it breaks me for days whenever I use it so I stopped trying

It clean well without drying out my skin. It is oil based cleaner. It has a mild scent which I like. It is pretty big in size for the price.

Jelly like texture that foams up really well, removes my bb cream and sunscreen easily and leaves my skin feeling comfortable and clean. I have aging, combo, acne prone and sensitive skin, and this is one of my fave cleansers that I have tried.
