This scent has lasted all day without fading. At this price, it’s a steal for such luxury. Kukka, you’ve got me hooked—my go-to for my signature scent.

Warm, woody, fragrance, very versatile
I’ve read about spikenard essential oil before and the possible benefits it can provide. Though many of them have disclaimers that the results haven’t been tested and proved by legitimate sources, I still wanted to try the oil for myself and see how I responded in some areas. I placed an order for KUKKA Spikenard Essential Oil.The bottle was sealed well and didn’t leak in transit. I was very pleased to see that both a drip top and glass dropper were included giving the option to dispense it whichever way you prefer. The bottle is dark brown, which will keep the oil fresh longer. A shelf life of three years is clearly displayed on the box.The oil has a warm fragrance, it’s natural and woody. It reminds me of the smell that comes from wood as it’s being cut with a table saw, a familiar scent from childhood as I watched my grandfather work on various carpentry projects.The oil is rumored to have a relaxing effect, so I thought if nothing else I could use it as part of a blend in my diffuser. I’ll be honest, though I don’t find it unpleasant, it’s not a fragrance I’d use alone. Multiple oils are suggested as blends, and I have a lot of those. One of the most common is lavender, a fragrance I use every night to induce relaxation. I frequently do a blend of seven drops lavender with three drops vanilla. I skipped the vanilla the first night and did a 7/2 lavender/spikenard blend. This added a warm earthiness to the fragrance, a bit mossy. My initial thoughts were “this isn’t bad, but I prefer my traditional blend”. I slept so well that night using it for relaxation needed further exploration though. The second night I kept the 7/2 blend but added three drops of vanilla into the mix as well. I liked it better, and it still helped me rest well. I’m sure I’ll try other blends as time goes on.Spikenard is said to possibly possess antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. It’s also supposed to help cleanse the air. I intend to continue trying it in a variety of applications. I now know that even if it isn’t beneficial in anything else, I believe it helps me rest. I believe this is a good product, I’m very pleased with it.****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Reviews I’ve posted will be from items I’ve had direct contact with.
