I like the layout of how the information is presented. The chart is colorful, The information is in an A to Z layout. Making it easy to look up the herbs you want information on. There are pictures of each herb so that it will be easy to identify the herb, with a reminder how to use it. The chart would also be helpful when talking to your health care provider; about a herb you want to take. Especially since some herbal remedies or supplements may interfere with a medication you may be taking, a health issues or allergies you may have.The only downside of this chart is that the print size is too small for me to read. So I have to use a magnifying glass to read it. But that is not uncommon for me because I need a magnifying glass to see the small print on a lot of things. As a result I do not feel that the print size is a negative or strike against the chart. I am sure other people will be able read the information without a problem. And the information on the chart is helpful. I think that the value for the money is fair. This chart may even make a nice gift for anyone who wants to learn more about herbs. I am happy that I ordered it.

Helpful herbal guide
The laminated Herbal Medicine Quick Reference Chart for Beginners is a great reference chart to keep on hand. It’s a tri-fold, front and back chart with 4 pages listing different herbs and plants and their uses, parts used, applications, and cautions. One page suggests ways to use herbs, and the front page describes herbs, herbal medicine, things to consider, and buying and storing herbs. It’s a practical guide for those who want to use herbs in their everyday life and want some guidance on how to use them.

Sheet is resistant to tears and water but NOT laminated in plastic.
This is an extensive list of herbs – more than I have even heard of before. The source of herb information included on the sheet comes from the National Institute of Health, therefore I know it is accurate and proper. It is easy to read as each description is spread out, yet still in a font and size simple to see without needing magnification. I think the best part of this chart is that every herb lists cautions in the final column. It is actually the most important thing about using herbs – knowing if certain health issues or interactions could prevent you from using any of them.The description says that the chart is printed on double-laminated, heavy duty paper. Let me clarify that this paper is not laminated. Some info charts come physically laminated in plastic. This one does not. It is just a coated paper that is resistant to tears and water.

Very informative
This pamphlet contained far more information than I would have imagined. It is very concise, thorough, and fairly well laid out. There are some gaps in info and some of it is generalized, but it contains way more than you could imagine is such a compact spot. The user will have to dig up a bit more information to enact some of the concepts, but that’s okay. It is more than enough to get them started on their path. This truly covers so much. It is the ideal quick guide that honestly doubles as an identification guide as well, providing herb hunters know to be safe when it comes to plant identification. I will be keeping it on hand for some time to come. *In order to make sure it lasts, take care to not get it wet. It has a light coating, but it is not heavy duty. Thst is the reason why I knocked off one star. Still an awesome guide though.

I love little cheat sheets like these. Quick references are nice to have on hand. This comes laminated well. There is quite an assortment of herbs listed with their basic purposes and uses listed. This is a perfect quick reference guide for any beginner. 10/10 would recommend and get again.

As someone who looks up a lot of stuff regularly, this guide really comes in handy. There are many things on here I recognize and some that I don’t which is great, I love learning about new herbs. Having something on hand that quickly tells me what’s useful for this or that is a thing I didn’t even realize I needed until I got this. This guide takes up little space, it is informative and will save me a bunch of time and googling.Yes, you could look all of it up online but having this already alphabetized, printed and laminated is a wonderful addition in the kitchen and very much worth the $10 asking price in my opinion.

Helpful for newbies like my husband and kids!
This is exactly as advertised. Very handy for true beginners like my husband and kids to get them interested in learning about how herbs has medicinal/health benefits. It gets us thinking more about what we consume and how it affects us so we can be more mindful of what we choose to put into our bodies. It is laminated and very thin so we placed it on our fridge for easy access. (We have a clip magnet that works perfectly for this, otherwise, we needed two magnets, one for each corner). I really like it for this purpose, but for people who have some knowledge of herbs, this might be too simplistic. Plus, it does not cover every herb out there. But for the purposes I described above, this is an handy tool and having it on our fridge, it reminds us to choose healthier options.
