I ordered this product after a colleague had recommended it. I had developed some acne and scarring from wearing face mask. Most of the acne was around my cheek area. Once mask weren’t required anymore I was a bit embarrassed of my skin’s condition. I’ve only ever used face wash and didn’t know the important of moisturizing. This has helped clear up my skin and even it out. I’ve been using for about 4 months now and only have very minimal scarring left. The price is worth it. I have actually been using it daily and use about 3-4 drops a day. Still have over half the bottle left. So one battle can truly last up to 8 months I think. Definitely a good investment. It has a light fragrance and will help your skin look dewy without feeling oily.

Hi, so for some background I’ve been using this stuff for a few weeks and I’d like to give a preliminary review:Why I purchased this item: I am 23f and have combination skin which has gotten very dry and patchy since this dry winter began. Also have had cystic acne for about 4 years which has not responded to antibiotics, bc or topicals very well. Also have rolling and ice pick scarring due to this. Some reviews claimed to help with these issues so I purchased a bottle and received it around Christmas.Cons: pricey, and not a miracle for sure.Don’t expect instant results!Don’t use within an hour to a few hours of using any acidic skin product. I use the MB salicylic face wash and putting on the vitamin c serum right after stings a little.Doesn’t help older scars much, but I probably need to see a surgeon for those anyway.Pros: my skin feels amazingly soft after using it, and one application of a few drops lasts all day.I’ve definitely noticed that my skin has more even tone when I wear it, and looks very healthy.Red marks from new scars fade more quickly.The amount of cystic nodules I get have drastically reduced, which is why I’m going to finish off the bottle.I feel it’s important to note the rest of my routine so as not to give false hope.I really like using the MB skin products for acne because they actually seem to help. I also use MB acne facial cleanser, buffering lotion, drying cream and sometimes the drying mask, and have been for a few months.I have noticed a large improvement in the state of my skin. It’s less prone to cysts and even smaller pimples . With makeup my skin looks almost normal except for the scarring.Cleanser once very other morning cause it’s a bit drying.Buffering lotion ONLY on cysts. It doesn’t do anything for normal pimples, which I have very few of. Also it doesn’t work well on older cysts, so try to catch them ASAP!Drying cream is also good for cysts, good for some normal pimples.Drying mask was a let down, didn’t help cysts at all and smelled awful.I also haven’t eaten fast food in almost a year, cut back on sugar, no soda or energy drinks, and meat only once a week if that. It’s been slow going, but I will keep it up and update with any changes.

I the vitamin C serum is lovely! I mix the serum with cover up occasionally or simply apply it on its own after I was my face in morning & evening. It has a light smooth silky finish that transforms my skin. The areas of dryness have receded & I have never been happier with my skin.

So after watching a Martha Stewart video, where she looks so healthy and youthful she said she swears by a vitamin C serum daily. She mentioned this product so I had to buy it. And I am in love with it. The feel, the smell, the glow, I have only used it daily for 2 weeks and honestly my skin looks so dewy. I’ve gotten compliments on looking more rested and glowy. I had to go back and buy the hula tonic eye cream, glycolic cleanser, collagen cream and mask and the rose water. I use them daily and what a difference. The scents are minimal and relaxing. I am seriously throwing or giving all my other crap away. I’m hooked!

I’ve been using this product for a long time. I sometimes buy it on here and sometimes from Ulta and it’s always worked well. I like the texture it dries down to, it feels slightly tacky so it’s nice to put my other serums over it in the morning. With my last order though I found that it has a strong smell. It doesn’t smell horrible, but it’s just so strong. I really dislike scented skincare products so that was disappointing and I have used it so I’m stuck with it and for $45 I can’t throw it away over it. But I’ve only had this happen with one bottle over maybe 4 I’ve had over time. You really can use one bottle for months if you use once a day or every other day. Overall it isn’t a bad product but I wish it was consistent and if this happened again I would switch to another brand.
