Magic ointment in a jar
I should have written a review years ago. Years. I first purchased this ointment when I was pregnant with my daughter because I read the great reviews about how wonder it is for sore nipples when breastfeeding. Turns out I didn’t need it for that (thank goodness!), but I did find so many uses for it. I have repurchased this again and again and it will always be in my medicine cabinet.When my daughter was a baby/toddler I used it on rashes, scrapes, and anytime her skin looked a little sensitive. She’s eight now and I use it to take away the itch of insect bites and still use it whenever her skin is irritated. I always rub a little on her skin when she has a minor cut or scrape to help the skin heal.I use it on dry cuticles, insect bites, and anytime I feel my skin needs a boost to help the healing process. I’ve used it when I travel to dry and/or cold areas to help with windburn. If the area around my eyes feel a little dryer than normal, I’ll dab some this ointment in. It’s a great lip balm.My only complaint is that I wish they sold this in a larger jar!

Miracle ointment!
I sustained 1st and 2nd degree burns to my face and chest when hot soup spattered out of a blender. A friend of mine told me about this ointment. So I purchased it and applied it liberally. It is oily, but it did the trick. Within a week the scabs fully healed, with no signs of scars. Love it!

Bye Bye irritated skin
I bought this for my baby’s eczema because I don’t like putting cortisone constantly on her skin and cortisone is the only thing that actually keeps it away. I got it based on the reviews of other people stating that it works good for baby eczema. It works ok I guess. It definitely keeps her eczema away a little longer before I have to end up putting cortisone back on her. I love the ingredients of this product. It has some good ingredients for irritated skin and I didn’t see any weird crazy chemicals that don’t need to be in there. I use it pretty much for any little dry patch or itchy scratchy skin my family has. I like it and I will keep it as a staple in our medicine cabinet. Any product that is natural and simple is an A in my book. I gave 4 stars only because I was hoping to find the miracle product that would keep my babys eczema away completely. I did research the ingredients and they all are good for use on baby skin. I will use it in between cortisone applications to give her skin a break.

This is actually the second time I buy this product. My 2yr old got bit by a mosquito or a spider, I think, I’m not sure what bit my 2yr, but she got a huge lump and I had never seen her mosquito bites get this big. I applied the ointment three times every day for a week and I definitely say the bug bit go down, during the second week it had completely away! Works well for bruises too! A little goes a long way, so not much ointment is needed, it melts in the skin and is oily, I don’t mind. Love this product!

Very small. Don’t know it really works yet. Why would you use it on bruising? It seems to help, it surprises you . You feel like it’s not doing anything. Yet it does. I will continue to use it.

I actually purchased this to help with all the mosquito bites that my children get from living in rural Minnesota. While this does help calm down the itch, that isn’t what impresses me the most. It is one of the only products that I’ve used on my children that actually seems to heal their skin when it flares up with eczema. My 9 year old son had a large spot on his leg that just wouldn’t completely heal. I began applying this once daily and it cleared up within a week.Another thing that amazed me is that it seemed to take care of a large scratch that my 23 month old daughter had on her face. She decided to pull the cushions off of our sofa and one of the zippers scratched her pretty good. My husband put this on her and by the next morning there seriously wasn’t any indication that she had ever had a scratch. I wish I would have taken pictures. It was crazy.I don’t think I’ll ever be purchasing cortizone-based products again. I love this stuff!
