I’m a man. I didn’t realize this was specific for women but oh well. I started using it after I tore a tendon in my shoulder playing volleyball. after about two or three weeks I just noticed that my nails were longer and looking better than they ever have that I can remember, as far as my hair, I don’t know. my joints seem to feel a lot better. My shoulders seem to heal quicker although I was using other supplements for that as well, but the taste is great. I love the chocolate mixes quick. I think I’m on my third or fourth tub I will continue using this. I think it works great even though it’s for women.

I purchased this collagen protein because I am looking for ways to fight inflammation and promote joint health (creaky knees). Also, this has a good rating on fakespot, so I felt confident the reviews were sound.1. People complain about the jar being ½ empty. I don’t know why the manufacturer chose to use a tub as big as it is, but it certainly contains the 40 scoops/servings it claims. Mine did have a safety seal, so if yours doesn’t – send it back.2. There is a statement on the tub saying it is odorless, tasteless, and mixes instantly. Hmmma. Odorless. No. While not strong or offensive, there is a distinctive smell. I’m average sensitive to unique orders and for me it is very manageable.b. Tasteless. No. The taste is stronger than the smell, and very related. It isn’t great, and I am above average sensitive to unique tastes. It is manageable, but not my favorite thing.c. Mixes Instantly. Not in the ways I have been taking it. I have only used cold to room temperature beverages and it can be lumpy sometimes. My strategy is to mix it into 4-5 ounces of cold tea/juice and power slam it. This is a supplement, not a snack. Perhaps in a hot beverage or swirled up in a smoothie it would reduce taste and texture.3. Results to date (1/2 through one tub): I’m doing so much for my joints, but I am experiencing improvements. I can’t confidently say this supplement is or isn’t contributing. However, here’s why I think it is: unanticipated positive results.a. My lips are noticeably fuller. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed very fine lines and a thinning of my lips (which had historically be very full). The lines have smoothed quite a bit, and there is a fullness to my lips.b. My fingernails are also becoming smooth. I have terrible nails that I do not take care of except for very special occasions. In my defense, no matter what I’ve tried in the past has done nothing for the “health” of my nail or nailbed. My cuticles are still a mess, but the ridges and texture of my nails are changing for the better.c. My hair is volume has increased. I’ve always had a mop of hair, a genetic gift/curse from both sides of my family. Again, as the process of aging occurs, my hair volume has decreased. I’ve noticed my part being a little more visible over the years. Recently my hairdresser asked me what I was putting on my hair, because the volume seems back to “a decade ago” (yup, I’ve had the same stylist for 15 years). I said “nothing… oh wait…”. I can only conclude it is the collagen.Based on my initial experience, I will definitely order another tub. If my experience takes a turn for the worse, I will update this review. If not, I will continue supplementing with this brand of collagen.Last words: Drink. Plenty. Of. Water. Can’t stress that enough. You’ll be sorry if you don’t. I already had, but my friend who started at the same time didn’t, and she had gastric distress that was improved by increasing her water intake.

Pleasantly surprised but not 100% a believer yet
I’ve been using collagen supplements for 6 weeks total, but switched to Vitauthority 3 weeks in because so many reviews said Vitauthority mixes better than the supplement I was using…and it does, SIGNIFICANTLY! No more eating chalk. Also, there is no taste during or after mixing 1.5 scoops with my cold smoothie or hot tea. My hips, back and knees do feel better but I also changed my workout routine so not sure if it’s that or the collagen, or most likely a combo of the two but I’m feeling better in general. Hair is healthier too, but with working from home these days, I’m not styling it at all, so that could be helping as well. Nails are still terrible but admittedly, I don’t take care of them at all. To my AMAZEMENT, the cellulite on the back of my legs and behind is nearly gone. I’m shocked! I wish I would have started this in the spring so I could show off my smooth legs during bathing suit season, instead of now hiding them in warm clothes in the fall and winter. But seriously, I did nothing to try to get rid of it and it’s nearly gone. So considering there have been positives in my joints, hair and cellulite, I’m going to continue using Vitauthority but I’m not 100% ready to say it’s a miracle supplement just yet. We’ll see how things progress with the changing of the seasons, going back to my normal routine of going into the office and putting on a “public” appearance.

I ordered this Collegen powder as a subscription without realizing that it only had 7 grams of protein. My goal is to get more protein in my diet. It turned out that 7 grams is just perfect. I have been tracking calories and I definitely get more than enough protein just from regular consumption of high protein foods. This powder is smooth and not gritty. It didn’t bother my stomach at all. I ordered the non flavored powder and does have a sweet taste. If you normally drink black coffee, like I do, then add a little sweetener and some flavored cream. I add Stevia and a splash on no sugar mocha creamer. With that, I can’t taste the powder at all. If you want to stregthen your hair and nails, for the cost and the amount of servings, its a good buy. If you are looking to boost your protein significantly, this powder may not be what you want.

The flavour is delicious, it really taste great. It mixes well with water but I add it to my fruit smoothies or anything cold. I experience sever back pain and the first time I tried it, the back pain went away but I did not associate the pain relief with this product until I tried it again and intentionally focused on it to see if it really did relieve my back pain and sure enough it did. So I have been consciously using this product for pain relief also. I sleep better, my digestion is better, I am more energetic and my skin health has improved. I have also recommended it to friends and family.

This is probably the best tasting collagen powder supplement that I’ve had so far. People complain that when receiving the product they were deceived at how big the container it had compared the amount of powder that’s inside and therefore lowered the rating because they felt they were getting ripped off. However, if you read the instructions, it says that you need to shake the container really well prior to mixing it with water to maximize dissolving of the powder and you cant do that if the container is super full. Im just nearing one month of use and I attest that there will be enough of for 30 servings as stated. Also, I can already see some minor improvement with the softness of my skin. I will need to update after a couple more months of use, but for now..5 stars!
