This product is great. Some people have complained abut the taste but it is honestly no big deal for one second when you put it on your mouth and swallow it. The softgel is about the size of the diameter of a quarter. I have not felt any after effects. I take it after I eat. The first time I tried it, I did it early in the morning and then lunch. It hit me hard in that I was a bit woozy and light headed for a bit. My body wasn’t used to something like this. So I take like 2 times a day now and once in a while three times a day. Its good to catch this on sale. This is top of the line HMB. I also have noticed that I recover from y HIT workouts quicker and am not as sore as much than I used to get.

This review might get a bit wordy, you’ve been warned :D.So I started lifting close to a year and a half ago. Comically it was due to having too many beers and I had some pos dumbells laying around. Anyway…fast forward a ways and I started my journey on building up a home gym. At one point found my way to strongman channels on Youtube. I decided to set goals for myself to at least get to what I felt was a good baseline for a male’s ability to lift. Enter my two main goals, benchpress goal, and deadlift goal. Both compound lifts that do great things for your body if done correctly (aka don’t be stupid and injure yourself).I’ve reached plateau’s before. Ones where it seemed like I pretty much had to inch and crawl and claw my way up to any small increase in weight on the bars. They’ve been tough and a mental as well as physical strain. Had a few months somewhat off where I was pretty much stuck with bodyweight only and 35lb dumbells for a time. Enter a few changes to my routines, and this supplement.Yes I’ve made other changes besides this supplement, but I’m going to give a majority of the kudos to this supplement. I went from struggling to break plateau’s to busting the crap right out of them. As an example once I got back from my 3 months or not seriously lifting I was struggling to get back to where I had left off. I had finally gotten there but felt pretty dead after each workout, had no extra gear and nothing in the tank to actually improve. I started adding more protein into my diet, like a lot more. I realized I had been taking normal people levels, I needed lifter levels. After that I also started on this supplement. Well after about a week of taking this I realized hitting my heaviest lifts were a lot easier. Each time I hit them I felt I had an extra gear I could have engaged for more. At the end of my workouts I felt like I could add a few extra accessories on to it and still have gas. I was very leery of this, will admit to being a bit negative and not believing it. Well the next week hits and same story, way too easy feeling. So on a whim I decided to up my bench by 5lbs and see what happened. Well…I had no problems engaging that extra gear and lifting it. Another week of workouts go by and I noticed my deadlift was also seemingly a lot easier. I used to almost feel like passing out after my heaviest set, and now I just felt like I should have done more….Enter today, enter the day I followed another whim and made a leap. I had a bit too much to drink the prev night so felt pretty blah. Honestly I thought about entirely skipping my workout. But as Shaw says, discipline > motivation and no way was my lack of motivation winning! So I started warming up with easier deadlift reps. I got to the point I usually do my heaviest set and on that whim said what the hell, let’s shoot for 300lbs. I know, lots of guys hit way higher than that, but for me that’s a big jump PR on deads. Now if you’ve ever watched the big pros on strongman using the hitching technique I assumed if I had chance I’d have to do similar. I was fully prepared to have to hitch my way and likely fail anyway. Well….came right up off the floor and I even held it for awhile before lowering it again ( i don’t drop, I lower, so pretty much a Romanian deadlift right after a normal one hah). My daughter happened to be down there when I tried and gotta say that felt awesome. I’m looking forward to how heavy I can push myself now. I even contemplated going heavier yet, that final gear barely seemed like it got activated.So in the end, the bottle does not lie, it will increase your 1 rep max, your endurance, your performance in general. Time will tell if I add on muscle pounds like they claim, but for the rest of it alone I’m subscribing to this supplement. Thank You MuscleTech!!!

Feels like it helps
I have been using these for a few months now and it seems like it has cut my recovery time in half. I always feel like I have more energy too vs when I forget to take them. Smells terrible, but no aftertaste for me. I have these on subscription

Love this stuff!
Stuff has a strong smell but no taste, take recommended dosage but not too late at night. WITH FOOD because it will almost feel like spicy food and be hot on your stomach and if you dry swallow it and it gets stuck in your throat youre in for a bit of a soar throat as the stuff is almost like spice or, as it says, acid. That disclaimer out of the way it works super well, I lift heavy and often and can power through exercises like a well oiled machine. Have lost fat and gained more muscle than ever before.
