Good for winter prevention
I only use this in the winter months to prevent illness. I’ve read it shouldn’t be used all year round anyway. I mix it with elderberry syrup to make the same thing as a brand name immunity elixir.

I love this product and have been buying it for years. It’s a good product to have on hand before traveling on a plane to guard against colds, flu’s, etc. I always travel with it. I start taking it about a week before leaving on vacation. Use it along the way during also.

I recommend the liquid extract over the tablets. For me it has always been more effective that way, but then my body has its own way of doing things.Anyone who doesn’t know, and actually reads this (echinecea on amazon? riiight), echinecea is a powerful immune system booster, and is particuarly good a fighting off flu and colds.Taking it everyday on a long term basis is a no no if you want it to be effective for this purpose. Taking echinecea when you feel a cold coming on, either completely prevents, or at least cuts down the severity of the cold for me, and from what I know, most people find it works.It’s best just to leave alone sometimes, but if the cold starts at a very inconvenient time (for me, usually when I am already in the middle of med side effects) then echinecea is great.
