This stuff works. Been using it since having back to back miscarriages back in 2015. This is the only thing that balanced my hormones. The taste is horrible like eating dirt. But mask it in smoothies or oatmeal. Use it 4 weeks straight and off a week. Then start back again. Maca root is an adaptogen.This makes you will make you hungry, extremely fertile, give energy, great sleep, use it after workout and you won’t have sore muscles. Benefits outweighs the taste. This will also make you gassy when you first start but after everything will balance. Best used during the day. I started off with 1tsp a day for a week. Then I went up to 1tbsp a day and stuck to that.As for the P65 warning on the back of the packaging. It is required BY LAW for every company to add the P65 warning on packaging when being sold in CA. As a company, you won’t be able to sell anything to the state of CA if the warning isn’t there. From clothing to food to skincare. This is a natural root that grows in the mountains of Peru. I am not worried about the P65 warning as it’s on everything.

I really like this and it has good flavor but I took off a star because it doesn’t mix very well, even when blended. There’s a lot of it left at the bottom of your cup – not sure why it won’t blend. But I like it and will probably order more when I finish this packet.

Maca powder positive health boost
I read that women in Peru have ground maca root for centuries to alleviate menopausal symptoms. I find that my energy, as well as my sleep cycle, are more regular since adding this to my diet in recent months. I like that this company, Navitas Organics, works with small farmers in the areas where they obtain their dietary supplements (according to their website). I add a teaspoon of the maca powder to my coffee in the morning (the heat helps dissolve the powder) and then add milk for a delicious malty beverage along with my breakfast and other vitamins. Do not use more than a level teaspoon to begin with, as more than a teaspoon may cause flatulence. I graduated to a rounded teaspoon after a few months, with no issues.

Yummy in plain yogurt; don’t defile your coffee!
I haven’t tried this long enough to judge the effects. However, I like the taste in plain Greek yogurt so I’ll keep eating it. And I feel like I’m taking care of myself.If you love coffee – don’t ruin your coffee with this! If you doctor your coffee with lots of stuff anyway, you might try it. I tried it in my morning espresso and cream and it was all I could do to get it down. Obviously, taste is subjective. But I’m going to say coffee lovers will want to put this in their yogurt!
