Nice, fresh clean feeling
Recommended by my daughter’s dermatologist as part of a treatment regimen to treat her acne. This smells very fresh, feels clean but not drying, and works well when used daily and in conjunction with moisturizers, sunscreen and topical treatments.

This is a good product that is what it says it is – an oil-free skin cleaner with salicylic acid. My daughter loves it, thinks it works well, and has purchased it many times. But I have sensitive skin and never use a product with salicylic acid. Although I use other Neutrogena products, this particular product is very irritating to my skin. So maybe think twice about purchasing it, if you have very sensitive skin. Also, for everyone, salicylic acid can make your skin more sensitive to the sun and to getting sunburned. So, if you are using this product, take care to protect your skin from the sun.

Works Great for My Acne Prone Skin
I really like this face wash for my acne prone skin. It makes me face feel fresh and clean without feeling overly dry. I always use moisturizer after. I’ve noticed less pimples popping up since I’ve started using this product regularly. It’s a very good price and works well.

This has 2% salicylic acid. It doesn’t leave a residue on your face. It makes it clean. I don’t break out, but this keeps me from breaking out and cleans my face squeaky clean. This size is cheaper than in the stores.

Deep Clean is better for combo skin
It’s a classic for a reason- it works. But be warned, it’s very strong and drying. I prefer the “Deep Clean” wash over this just based on smell alone, but it also doesn’t seem to be as strong. I have combination skin, with only the occasional hormonal zit, and it seems to work pretty well at keeping bacteria at bay- but so does “Deep Clean” without the irritation. Moisturizer is a must with this after cleansing or your skin will feel tight, dry, and uncomfortable.
