COMPARABLE TO PROACTIV EMERGENCY BLEMISH RELIEF
I used to love the proactiv emergency blemish relief- it was my go-to and would improve the appearance of a pimple in practically hours. It recently got discontinued because of carcinogenic ingredients (probably why it worked so well lol). Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for a good benzoyl peroxide spot treatment. I had low hopes because this neutrogena one only has 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, but to my surprise, this has been working on my skin wonderfully! It is VERY comparable to the proactiv emergency blemish relief in terms of effectiveness. I will dab a bit on a pimple (or pimples) and the redness/inflammation/size will reduce significantly in hours! If the pimple is under the skin, it will come to a head overnight with the use of this stuff! The consistencies of this and the proactiv emergency blemish relief are somewhat similar as well (gel consistency vs other treatments that are pasty white creams). I’m very satisfied and will continue to have this in my skincare routine as a staple for breakouts!!!
